Just remember it if the right impeaches a Democrat president because they have the majority in The House that it was the left that opened Pandora's box like they did with the "nuclear option".

You mean the Mueller investigation that took more than two years of smearing the president in the press by the Democrats and cost 31,000,000.00 and found no collusion? The only stain that will last here is the one that the left has created by crapping themselves, yet again. The claim by the left that a democrat politician can't be investigated with good reason just because they are politically active is BS. You folks are destroying Biden's chances to win an election. It's fun to watch Schiff and Nadler try to distract from the obvious fact that Hunter Biden is neck deep in some nefarious crap and his dad could be implicated.

And, he's also a man of his word....

LOL... glad I wasn't watching when Cippilone said that.... I would have choked as well..

I bet Bernie's eyes rolled so far back in his head, they are still pointing that way this morning..

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-lawyer-biggest-lie-ever-senate-093201947.html

I actually didn't watch anything after 4:30 yesterday... and I'm not sure how much of the House presentation I want to watch the next couple of days.. I believe I know most of what's known about their presentation.

Watch for the House Intel to release more damaging stuff from Lev or elsewhere today...

Hunt er Biden's not the one who needs to be worried here. Yes, he got paid millions despite the fact that he had zero experience. That's not illegal, though. He may have even gotten the job because his father was Vice President. I don't think that's illegal, either.

    But Joe Biden's screwed...

Actually we don't know if either Biden did anything illegal. There certainly is ample cause to investigate.

"Biden, 49, “is the subject of more than one criminal investigation involving fraud, money laundering and a counterfeiting scheme,” the filing alleges.

One of those purported investigations relates to Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian energy company with which Biden held a lucrative board post while his father, Joe, was vice president — drawing allegations of impropriety from Republicans including President Trump.

Biden and a group of business associates “established bank and financial accounts with Morgan Stanley … for Burisma Holdings Limited … for the money laundering scheme,” D&A claims, further alleging that the accounts showed an average account value of nearly $6.8 million between March 2014 and December 2015.

Biden and the others — including Devon Archer, John Galanis and Bevan Cooney — allegedly “utilized a counterfeiting scheme to conceal the Morgan Stanley et al Average Account Value,” D&A claims in the papers filed at the Circuit Court of Independence County, Arkansas."

    Hmmmm... Interesting.

I was referring specifically to him being given the job in the first place, though. I don't think there's anything illegal about that.

But if he's involved in some other nefarious stuff, string him up by his nutsack...

If you want to see what crazy and maniacal look like, just look at Schiff's eyes. This dude looks like a psycho that hasn't been to sleep in a week. I swear, democrats always look either miserable - like The Nadler - or psycho like Schiff and Pelosi. Same look with Cortez, too.

Right. Losing the House does not mean a President should be impeached, but that is exactly what Pelosi/Schiff/Nadler decided to do just as soon as they knew they had almost all the Democrats on board to vote for it.

The fact that there was not one single Republican vote in favor of Nancy's Democrat Party Impeachment certainly does make partisan-only impeachments far more likely in the future. Nancy set a precedent. A bad one. She turned impeachment into nothing more than a partisan campaign tool.

They're democrats. Democrats don't think ahead and get pissed off when their precedents they set get used against them.

So, yesterday. It was meant to simply have Senators agree on the rules to have opening statements and then have any debates about additional witnesses and documents. The Democrats had to grandstand for almost 12 hours though, with Schumer proposing 11 amendments requesting witnesses, documents, and rules changes....with each proposal getting up to 2 hours of "debate time". Impeachment Managers used that time to whine about how they don't have a prepared case ready to prosecute in the Senate. Democrats do not have the capacity to work and play well with others. Just a bunch of political shenanigans.

Perhaps today, we can actually start opening statements.

Obviously, you never depend on one person only for evidence. If everything he says can be crossed referenced with what career officials say and by evidence UNDER OATH, he’s telling the truth. When you have a key witness, you never ask a question you don’t have answer to. He’s key, only to the extent he agrees with other evidence. Really, this is how they caught Fynn lying. He’d change his story with the weather. None of the career workers that testified before the House were tripped up. Their story already had been vetted. If he wasn’t solid, he wouldn’t even be called. That’s how it’s done.....not by guessing.

    Liberals do think ahead. Republicans
are are only in it for the short game. That’s why Dems lower the deficits. The gop supporters never remember getting screwed by their party, or don’t care as long as they’re wearing the big R.

Then why are democrats talking about it this morning. Lack of rebuttal noted. If the Senate decides there is one then there is one.

Now try actually addressing the issue

""On June 28, 2012, Eric Holder became the first attorney general to be held in both civil and criminal contempt. Why? Because President Obama asserted executive privilege," Sekulow noted.

Citing a 2012 op-ed Schiff wrote in Politico, Trump's lawyer said, "With respect to the Holder contempt proceedings, Mr. [impeachment] Manager Schiff wrote, 'the White House assertion [of privilege] is backed by decades of precedent that has recognized the need for the president and his senior advisors to receive candid advice and information from their top aides."

"Indeed that's correct, not because manager Schiff said it, but because the Constitution requires it," Sekulow added. "Mr. Manager Nadler said that the effort to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt for refusing to comply with various subpoenas was 'politically motivated,' and Speaker Pelosi called the Holder matter 'little more than a witch hunt.'"

The duplicity is BLARING. The " obstruction of Congress" should be summarily dismissed.

You should have listened to the Presidents attorney's today. I cited the standing legal opinions cite where a court has overturned them.

Yeah, that's how the nuclear option came about, liberals thinking ahead. The Mueller fiasco backfired in that there were more people damaged in the FBI and DOJ than Trump's team to find "no collusion". Now we have a new precedent where we impeach just because the house has a majority of a different political party than the president. Let us know how that turns out for ya.

And “poorly educated” applies mostly to people who really don’t want to know. Many certainly have the schooling. In my experience, it has to do with greed as much as anything.

Nuke option came about because republicans refused to pass on Obama’s appointments by filibustering. Your memory is short.

Filling one's head with junk is no better than having a lot of 'facts'. The Democrats don't have a case, by their own words. This is going to be defeated in probably a week or so, and we're going to get on with our lives.

Really? Care to point out some of these "words"

If your life is paused for this, I'd suggest major changes needed anyway...
