We don't need to control guns, we need to control our government.

The main way to control our goverment is by voteing the Democrat liberals out of office.
Besides the need to remove the exsisting Supream Court Judges. Espcially the ones inserted by Obama. They must be kicked to the curb.

It was an analogy, and not to be taken literally, friend.

That's odd because your profile of me is way off. Strange.

I've seen Reiver offer his views on gun control more than once here, so you're simply wrong. As to myself, all you had to do was ask. You did not and instead chose to assume I have the most radical of positions. This speaks to my analogy that you mistakenly took literally. You're quite simply putting the cart before the horse and making accusations with no other information than your own imagined fears.

I appreciate your attempts at civility, but I am troubled by your somewhat paranoid avoidance of my direct reply to your question. If you truly wished to understand my perspective, then all you would have had to do is refer to my link. You didn't do this?

    OIC! Heh heh...I knew that....no I didn't! :omg:

I suppose I clump manycontrol people in the same crowd, which is a mistake. I would be happy to recall or modify anything I said. I have always thought that a majority of gun control people were good moral people. Nevertheless
just like in religion or atheism etc the fringe are the fanatics and the home base of evil in many cases.

I asked Reiver many times but he was evasive or said he had already presented his ideas.

I have to disagree with Reiver, I think his type is a danger to all freedom loving people in gun land. And I must say that my 'fears'* are valid. Look at what happened after Brady was shot. If the NRA were never in existance I would guess that the USA would be a mirrior of england.

Thank you. I have said before that I do not trust some of the links that you have provided. The last was a group of MD's or associated with childhood MDs of some type or another. Most MD's abhor guns as much as many Orthos detest motorcycles. I am not saying every link is wrong just some of them are
That specialized in childhood trauma or something similar.

True, like the fringe fanatics and minority of Americans who would like to see none or very few gun laws on the books. Agreed?

He was being honest, I have seen him post his views often here.
--P.S. They aren't at all fanatical.--

You got a little confused here and lumped Reiver into some odd conspiracy in THIS country. I hardly think he could take any credit for all that.

Your suppositions are baseless. (a trend? You seem to base your opinions more on emotions than fact and reason)

    Don't dodge. It's very unflattering.

If you truly wanted to understand my perspective, then you could have referred to my link. The fact remains that you did not do so, and are perfectly content to falsely label me as an extremist when I am no such thing. This could lead me to believe that you are not interested in the truth.
