I posted Friedman's article about Kerry' not if he will be Israel salvation or the most dangerous diplomatic Israel has ever encountered, I only posted his article because in it Friedman write there "what Kerry's Plan is" and i also qouted the spesific paragraph, where he presents it. the problem between the Arabs in the West Bank and Gaza strip and Israel isnt need to be the world problem, and maybe to USA too because Israel is an ally of the USA and we all withness what terrorists can do on 9/11. But Friedman's article shows what Kerry's Plan is, I already qouted you where he talks about Kerry's Plan and presents it, but you prefer to "close your eyes" to it.
The League Assembly recognizes that, on the termination of the Leagues existence, its functions with respect to the mandated territories will come to an end but the Assembly takes note of the expressed intentions of the Members of the League now administering territories under mandate to continue to administer them for the well-being and development of the peoples concerned in accordance with the obligations contained in the respective mandates. Resolution of the Assembly of the League of Nations adopted on April 17 1946 during the final meeting of the League Assembly. Article 80 1. Except as may be agreed upon in individual trusteeship agreements, made under Articles 77, 79, and 81, placing each territory under the trusteeship system, and until such agreements have been concluded, nothing in this Chapter shall be construed in or of itself to alter in any manner the rights whatsoever of any states or any peoples or the terms of existing international instruments to which Members of the United Nations may respectively be parties.
The UN decided to get rid of the Mandate and instead divide Palestine into a Jewish state and an Arab state. There would be no inherent settlement rights for Jews in the Arab state. The Jews accepted this plan.
The Friedman article doesn't get into details about Kerry's Plan, as he didn't actually see it. we don't know how much of the West Bank and East Jerusalem was offered to the Palestinians, therefore we don't know what they rejected.
On paragraph 5 in his article you can see that he is regarding to Kerry's Plan and write this: PLEASE READ!
"The Kerry Plan, likely to be unveiled soon, is expected to call for.." in other words, the plan was never released and we don't know its details.
what percent of the West Bank would go to Palestine? what percent of East Jerusalem? what areas? you don't know, cause the plan wasn't released yet.
Here you go: Source: http://www.theguardian.com/world/on...27/john-kerry-solve-israel-palestine-conflict And who leakes the plan? the PA! Evidence: Source: http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/175440#.U2Kkf5tZqDY
Just Beit Hanina? No other Arab areas? permanent Israel control of the entire Jordan Valley? that's a pretty (*)(*)(*)(*)ty deal.
I preatty much sure it would be the area of suburb of Beit Hanina. Israeli control of the Jordan Valley, but it could change if the Palestinian security forces will have the ability to function
just Beit Hanina is NOT enough. There are other Arab areas that should be included. as for the Jordan Valley, Israel should be satisfied with international troops and Israeli radars and stuff. Israel doesn't need to have 1,000 troops in the Jordan Valley in order to protect Israel. They have satellites, radar, cameras, etc etc etc. This isn't the 1950s. and they could have NATO troops.
So blame Kerry if you dont like what he suggested to the Arabs regarding East Jerusalem. They could have NATO troops of course, but we all sew what happened with international troops on Lebanon, they were not very effective.
et al, While it is an old story, I particularly found this part of the story amusing! (COMMENT) This is the "Apartheid" face coming out in the Palestinians. Most Respectfully, R
I never said Israel agreed to it! YOU said that it could be NATO troops instead of the IDF in the Jordan Valley, and I said that it could be NATO troops there, but as we sew in Lebanon, international tropps are not very effective.
Here you go: Source: http://www.commentarymagazine.com/2...in-israel-no-jews-in-palestine-peace-process/ One more: Source: http://www.jpost.com/Middle-East/Abbas-vows-No-room-for-Israelis-in-Palestinian-state
now you're moving the goalposts. first you said "Jew". Now you say "Israeli". Abbas is clearly saying Jews can be citizens of Palestine, but they may not be citizens of Israel and bear allegiance to The State of Israel.
Here you go: Source: http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/news...raeli-jews-future-state-israel-PLO/50394882/1 One more: Source: http://www.tabletmag.com/jewish-news-and-politics/48834/qa-maen-areikat By the way- I never talked to you about what Abbas said! we talked about Kerry's Plan! stop putting words in my mouth that i never said! JUST THAT YOU WILL KNOW- in Israel you have 8.1 Million Israeli citizens (Arabs and Jews), and when Abbas said that he dont want any Israeli citizen or soldier in the Arab country it means he dont want no Arab Israeli and no Jew Israeli- simple.
you responded to a discussion about what Abbas said about Jews in the future state of Palestine. Abbas said he wants no Israelis in this state, not no Jews.
