Bribery of politicians are legalized in our country, and this is causing the super rich to have greater voice in our government - hence the widening rich / poor gap in the last few decades. Even noble politicians (if there are many left) need money to run their campaign, so they have to depend on the super rich, and in return, they must do them a favor - as we all know.

Someone suggest a workable campaign finance reform, to stop the super rich from hijacking our Democracy.

All I can think up is to allow certain amount of equal media time/space to all the candidates on TV, radio, newspaper, and magazines, and particularly internet web sight, and do away with going around the country speaking and shaking hands.

Over a billion is wasted by each presidential candidate on their campaign, and this money could be better used in many places in our society.

...but then how do we limit the candidates, if we do what's suggested above - so many would step forward to receive equal time in the media...

I don't have answers, so I am posting here - any creative solutions out there for this modern Democratic problem of ours?

We need to eliminate all restrictions on campaign contributions (free speech), but make public on the internet all contributions above a certain dollar amount, maybe $50 or $100.

The U.S. Supreme Court caused this problem with Citizens United.
