We need to add border police because you can't honestly expect those few Mexicans to jump the border all by themselves right? Be good people and give them a hand. Also, the drug transporters could use some help. It's a tough buisness.

The people jumping fences to get to America are Mexican as a minority- it's the Central and South Americans that are coming here in hordes.

I don't mind this per se. They work illegally and pay Federal and State witholding taxes every check and never get those monies back come April 15. Plus if they step out of line once they're arrested and deported.

It's the Tony Montanas you worry about but that's not reality- almost all of them come here to find a job, follow the law and live in a better place.

Please do so at this end as well. We don't want even more of your drug transporters.

Hmmm since we don't have border police...kind of ridiculous post.

But we should have many, many more Border Patrol.

If we had enough Border Patrol, we should be able to prevent a large amount of illegal immigration (not all of course...a large portion come here on tourist visa's and overstay, but for some people all they care about is the Mexican border), and secondarily, help prevent crime along our border.

Actually, if deadbeats in the U.S. would go to work we would have fewer people coming here to work. Won't happen, though. Deadbeats in the U.S. don't have to work. Work is optional and they opt out.

So breaking the law is fine in your book. Interesting...all those who rob banks are just trying to improve their lives too, so we should let them out of prison to rob a few more so they can pay their bills I guess.

America does have Border police. National Geographic Channel even has a whole series on them called Border Wars.

There is no police, fence, or gun, that can keep people out, when the average US salary is $25,000pa and Mexicans live under $1 a day. Also, Mexicans don't accept the border because of the Guadalupe-Hidalgo treaty.

This may be whacky, but you can't rob others of their land, call it yours in school history classes, then get surprised when they come back for it. So, the real solution to the US-Mexico border problem should be to include Mexico into the US as a state(s), entirely, or at least as an equal member of NAFTA in terms of living standard. (But this is against the interests of US financial institutions, so will never happen.)
