I'm willing to bet the old man is more attractive to more women than say that pie throwers guy. Women are instinctively attracted to powerful alpha males and want to have their babies. That's why Kissinger was able to get so much action. It's hard for me as a man to understand because we are so much more concered with physical appearance but I have seen enough cases of it to know it's true.
