Fox News confirmed that Bergdahl’s conduct both before and after his capture has been the subject of a classified investigation.

A “Defense Department source confirmed to Fox News that many within the intelligence community harbor serious outstanding concerns not only that Bergdahl may have been a deserter but that he may have been an active collaborator with the enemy,” Fox News’ James Rosen reports.

If it turns out that Bergdahl did indeed collaborate with the enemy, Obama just gave up five of the worst terrorists in American custody for the return of a traitor we will now have to put on trial. And the president authorized this without notifying Congress, which even his supporters in the legal community say violates U.S. law. So much for President Obama’s “Don’t Do Stupid (*)(*)(*)(*)” foreign policy doctrine.

Yes, but if your wonderous, law-breaking President Magnificent hadn't turned these Islamo-Nazi monsters loose, we wouldn't even have to worry about it, now, would we...?! Please don't misunderstand -- it wouldn't make any difference to this issue if Sgt. Bergdahl had been an honorable soldier, who became a genuine captive of an enemy force, or, if he had been a slacker/deserter/coward who went AWOL... the point is, Obama broke the law -- a law he, himself, signed into law! Long story short -- Bergdahl needs a court-martial, and Obama needs to be impeached and removed....

Those pictures are interesting. I've seen others that detail the steady deterioation of women's rights across the middle east over the last 50 years or so. Take a look at this pictures from 1959-2004 of Cairo University graduates. It's Eye opening.

Thanks for the link. The pics were interesting... and sad. But the posts on that page were fascinating. I remember my grandfather complaining to high heavens about Eisenhower. After reading that, guess he had a point. :oldman:

Do you have a problem with that? Either bring him home or tell all the GIs "if you get lost, we ain't coming to get you." He's an American soldier until convicted in a court martial.

    It's just one soldier...

    How is this big news?

Besides, while the profiles of the 5 people he was traded for seem menacing and "an oh so hard compromise" on the part of the US, I seriously doubt the US would give up 5 such prisoners for this 1 soldier.

    Come on...

He's not worth compromising US security by releasing 5 sworn enemies of America to return to the battlefield.

The troops are not as stupid as the golfer in chief thinks they are.

They know obama is doing this for himself not our soldiers in uniform.

    Get you facts straight
    http://www.newsweek.com/president-hamid-karzai-reportedly-angry-over-prisoner-deal-252968
The Afghan president is angry at being kept in the dark over a deal to free five Taliban leaders in exchange for a captured U.S. soldier, and accuses Washington of failing to back a peace plan for the war-torn country, a senior source said on Monday.

Karzai is on his way out for power, also the jirga meeting last year agreed to these terms and Karzai didn't.

OK, jac, I'll play your game for just one round... so, exactly what part did I get wrong...? Be careful! If I manage to pull you out of the safety of your being the Forum's "Magic 8-Ball", you won't stand a chance.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic_8-Ball
[IMG] BTW, I used to think you were actually an interactive computer program, but, you lack the complexity....

Yup... that's our 'jac! Says nothing, and says it often. Take comfort in the fact that you are obviously a person with the kind of mentality that your wonderous President Transparency cherishes most.... But thank you -- your complete inability to supply a coherent response only attests to the fact that I was right. Not much of a victory, considering that I had you as an opponent, but, hey, what the hell....

Oh, hell, Karzai has been planning for his exit to Switzerland (or whereever) ever since Obama and Hillary finished shovelling so many billions of dollars at him that he wasn't sure if he had an airplane big enough to carry all of it off.

Nevertheless, as I pointed out in my links, the agreements were between our wonderous President Transparency and Afghanistan, made in 2012, and 2013. It makes no difference what Karzai thinks about what Obama did. The point (POINT) is that Obama did this thing, and he must be held accountable for it. Even Diane Feinstein, one of the biggest hyperliberal socialists in Obama's Praetorian Guard has called out this autocratic power grab and its complete Obamanite disregard for the law: http://blog.sfgate.com/nov05electio...e-didnt-notify-congress-on-prisoner-exchange/

Still think it's just a bunch of racist "haters" who are raising hell about this? Do you really believe that Bergdahl served with "honor and distinction", as the Obama regime would have us believe? Do you Obama-lovers really not understand that Obama is a law-breaking, reckless LIAR?!

What makes Tillman a great American and this guy not. Is it because he wasn't a professional football player.

I hate most sports. Football included. What made him a great American was that after 911 he suspended a multimillion dollar career to enlist and go fight for his country. What made this guy not was sympathizing with the enemy, deserting his unit getting his dumb ass captured and 6 men were killed looking for his dumb ass. Now we traded 5 top level killers for him and no telling how many more Americans will die in the future for his idiotic decisions.

He was a hero the minute he put himself in harms way you don't need to reject a million dollar contract to be a hero, and this guy may have been a liberal, and may have deserted because they were bullying him in the military, but that does not take away from the fact that he served proudly until he left and was captured.

He may have suffered the consequences for his actions as a prisoner of war for 5 years, but he wasn't classified as AWOL so tarnishing his character for political points is unbecoming.

There are millions of sworn enemies of America. 5 more aren't even going to dent the actuarial tables. And the troops are going to be damn glad someone is going to pull them out.
