Lose a whole week after shutting down the country, or so people claimed, for 17, 18 days.

These morons should be working day and night with the exception of sleep and meal breaks until they get the darn budget done. I could care less now who was at fault for the shutdown, but this is not the time to be taking vacations. The next fiscal cliff isn't that far away.

I don&#8217;t have a problem with them closing shop to attend a funeral of their colleague. A week seems excessive, though, and they should have to pay their own way. My guess is in the end they will have to pay the Air Force whatever the commercial fare would be.
