Bonnie still slings that slide well. Carolyn is a Houston native Texas blues childhood bad girl. Lol. Okay, if you get blues, that will make sense. But yes, what vocal chords. Janis Joplin range.

Albert King plays guitar upside down AND backwards, yet still does it right.

It's great the way they compliment each other.

Guitar player got his Eddie Van Halen chops. Impressive Deep Purple cover.

That's The Red Rocker..Oh geez, back in the day, I used to make fun of him..

And then the singer/bass player is Michael Anthony from Van Halen.

Do you know who the main guitar player is there?

No. I've heard of the band but that's the first I've heard the music.

SRV and Albert King were like a couple of brothers from a different mother.

I truly love this. I tell ya what, when I used to play Stormy Monday, the whole band-playing neighborhood would stop and listen to my licks. These boys know how to phrase. Mainly I went off of Albert King's brother and a few others.

The main guitar player's name is Joe Satriani.
It's an A-1+ band. Idk who the drummer is, but I'd bet he's a ringer.

Ha! I bought Surfing With the Alien when it came out. I wasn't paying much attention, but yes, I love Joe Satriani. I guess I stand corrected. He got his Joe Satriani chops. Lol.

    I have the book somewhere.

Summer Song is not included, but I have that too, somewhere.

Reminds me of going 169 mph on an Interceptor 750 gassed up with jet fuel.

Let's see that happen nowadays! LOL!

Dude let me borrow the bike after filling it up with jet fuel (107?) at the airport.

Can that be done these days? No? Freedoms have been lost.
V4 Interceptors were only made for a couple years, but that one went 169 mph one time. :D While the owner was at work.

Satriani's gift is a perfect blend of soulfulness and guitar wizardry. The guitar not only sings, it tells a story. His music hits you in the gut. No vocals needed.

A totally different genre, but the same guitar magic in acoustic form, instrumental, from someone I didn't know was so talented, Craig Chaquico of Jefferson Starship fame.

That whole album is pretty amazing, and flew under the radar.

Powerful Lenny Kravitz cover. The dancing "day of the dead" "skeletons" at the end hit me good.

You never had a right to go 169 mph on the street.

Those two girls are at the top of the Americana- blues- southern rock scene at the moment. I'm totally smitten with them. Lol.

The video was moving, played and sung in a raw, dead-serious delta blues. I never listened to that song in such a dark way. Pretty damn powerful.

It was on an elevated toll road. You never had a desire to live life, just make others' miserable, huh?
