He told the people of Australia to their faces during an ABC interview: not to believe anything he said unless it was written down on paper, but the Australian dumbarses still voted for him. It's pretty much the way the real world works when there is any complexity in the topic, because communication about complex issues requires a lot of mutual understanding in the mixed use of language to describe various levels and interactions between aspects of that complexity. Its why when complex things are written down they can be framed in 'definitions' etc which are used with explicit meanings. But if youz had done anything in life youz would already know that The biggest problem of someone like Abbott is using dumbed down language to try and communicate complex issues to the people - he should do what the ALP politicians do and just omit the truth and just say what they know people want to hear. Except he didn't, you lefty folk just intepret things one way and run with it because again, truth does not matter to your camp, just spin and popularity. That is the real disease of Australian politics, it strips away all the good things about our society and creates division along political lines LOL, union tactics - cant fight on the issues so try to bully instead.
