Dems have had control of Senate and Presidency since the election in 2008 and not once has a budget been passed.

They finally realized the public wasn't buying governments tactic of balancing the budget using the old Master card.

They figured they would lose fewer votes by not passing a budget, than either cutting spending, or increasing taxes.

The left leaning media cooperated. No fuss over the lack of a budget, front page headlines when the Tea Party wasn't going to increase the debt wihtout spending cuts.

Not to mention it was a great opportunity to blame the minority party claiming that the republicans were the ones stopping the budget process.

Technically, they are right. You can't stop something that wasn't started - the Republicans went and ruined things by starting a budget.....

When you think government budget, you gotta think personal type budget.

Some are broke and cant manage money.

Some have no job and cant make money.

Some are privilaged and get free money.

Some have no skills in managing money.

Put them all togeather and you got the USA Congress. That is why they have committees. To do this crap.

In personal budgeting, you live with your mistakes. These guys pass it on the the next guy. And say it was not my fault and ponint the finger.

And the simplestines buy into it.

Ah, Nope,... That gives you a Democrat controlled Congress....

Actually, a Democrat controlled Senate in this case....

The House passed, 'n forwarded a budget....

A budget with spending reductions, requiring less borrowing.

Wasn't it Rep. Pelosi who said, "Budget, budget, we don't need no stinkin' budgets."

Don't worry everyone know exactly where the blame lies, kind of obvious, the year the Dem's take over Congress to now "NO" Budget. Not like the House under Rep control last year didn't send one, they did, Senate once again thumb their noises to their duties as they attempt to grab powers they don't have!
