graham was a never trumper and a reliable wing man for sen mccain. one golf trip to mar a lago and he becomes a sniveling subservient craven. here is claire mccaskill trying to get graham to "man up."
I who once thought highly of Graham lost all respect for him when he failed to support McCain’s legacy while Trump continued to trash McCain even after McCain died.
Graham seems to have two political passions: Open borders and war. Trump opposes both so I'm not sure what holds this political relationship together.
I agree with Claire McCaskill. The most humiliating part of that video is not the crowd booing him, but what Trump said afterwards. Trump treated him like a piece of dirt. Lindsey was John McCain's partner. He completely destroyed his own legacy when McCain died. I don't know.... maybe I'm speculating but I think Lindsey Graham knows he got himself into legal trouble in Georgia, and he might be thinking his only way out is to make Trump President so he can grant him a pardon. It's the only explanation I can think of why he would humiliate himself this way.
I wonder how it feels to grovel to the MAGA masses, only to be booed and then ridiculed by the great MAGA leader. If I was him, I'd finally find a spine and convert to anti-MAGA.

MAGA is a social construct. Its a word you people use to spread hate and division. and its sad I think some of these politicians suck up to him because they are all cronies in one way or the other. Think about it, most politicians are millionaires. GEE I WONDER HOW from butt kissing! thats why our political system needs a whole re-vamp with NO SPECIAL TREATMENT ZERO CORPORATE INFLUENCE I personally think people running for office should get free campaign minutes on TV instead of kissing companies arses for campaign money with "off the radar" promises being made. Its disgusting Unfortunately for us, NONE of these losers wanna give up the golden goose, but instead of calling them out, you turn to hyper partisan politics SAD! The MAGA wear their label proud, i.e. the MAGA hats, the Trump flags (even when not in campaign season), the "f your feelings" and "lets go Brandon" flags and shirts.... So, I'd say if you go by the "f your feelings" motto, you shouldn't complain that the other side calls you out for it. Of course, in typical victim mentality, this is perceived as hate. On the other hand, the MAGA hordes do not comprehend how they come across to other, non-MAGA infected people. They come across not in a good way.
Graham has the same problem virtually everyone in the GOP in Washington has. He does not know how to function without being in Congress, and cannot imagine what life would be like if he was not a Senator anymore. Very few have picked their character and integrity over their jobs.
If you were to take all those MAGAS in your reply and replace them with MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN it would sound much, much different. I see terms as "maga infected" to be on the same LOW level as the "F your feelings" thing In the last election I used to drive a friend to work who got a DUI and couldn't afford to uber there and back 5 days a week. The quickest route passed a sign that said "Trump 2020 F* your feelings" She would ask me to take a different (and longer) route because of her "feelings". I just humored her and did it. Obviously of it were a man friend I would have told him to re-read the 2nd part of the sign. (you know, because men and women ARE different). Anyway, I've never had any of my RED friends ask me to take different routes to avoid pro biden and anti trump stuff. I remember one near a bar we used to go to had one of those blow up baby trump things on the front lawn and some pro biden stuff. We thought it was so funny we would drive extra slow past it. Also, Thanksgiving after Trump won we were all bulked emailed by a blue member of the family saying not to discuss politics this thanksgiving. It was never a huge topic at family stuff to begin with but sometimes it did and we are pretty much almost even numbers of blues and reds. No special rules when democrats won! What am I getting at? there's a big difference in the sides. One wants to force conformity and one wants to live and let live. A president that tries to paint a political party as "terrorists" is freaking disgusting! MAGA is just a catchy phrase that the left learned how to turn into a weapon. Sad! I think the left needs to start embracing meditation and other relaxing activities because how does anyone get through a day while harboring THAT MUCH HATE??

Not all politicians are millionaires, but many seem to end up that way, don't they? Don't like the big money and corporate interests involved in elections? Neither do most liberals, but liberals were in no way responsible for the Citizens United decision that allows boatloads of dark money into election funds. That was all done by the right. Free campaign time on TV? Bernie Sanders (not a rightie) fully agrees, however, it just isn't that simple anymore. When TV was new, the FCC mandated that the three networks in existence at the time set aside a certain number of broadcast minutes each day for news, weather, and so forth. This was decades before the advent of cable, with commercials being run during what was once considered a public service. You can, again, thank conservatives for deregulation the news, making it a for-profit deal concerned far more with ratings than with neutrality and vetting the facts. "If it bleeds, it leads" is the expression. You're pointing your finger in the wrong direction, with all due respect. Plus, you are voicing some very liberal positions on campaign reform.
