What election interference?

HA! Business abhors the idea that by law the State of NY can sue them for any ostensible albeit flimsy "fraud", does not need a victim of the fraud to prove their case, and seemingly does not need to prove intent as every other fraud law does. From that the State, given a cooperating court, can take all their money and close down their business. That's why they are leaving. Virtually all, like Trump, committed no wrong doing or crime.

If a business is concerned its normal business practices, and fraud is a normal Trump business practice, may result in a fraud complaint perhaps adopting better business practices is a more viable option than moving.
AND
If a company feels it must move because its business practices are subject to fraud complaints then goodbye, good riddance, and don't let the door hit you on the way out..

 

They could run up the street but cannot hide. Since the state determines which business practices or bad, what better practices could they adopt????

I don't know why it wasn't a jury trial. Probably because there is some limitation in this case. In any case James would have had a much harder time convincing even a NYC jury and did not want one.

Exactly. Very difficult. And this is the reason WHY no direct evidence of a particular victim is required. EVERYBODY who might apply for a loan in that bank is an unknowing victim.

You know... I'm an IT Consultant by trade. I'm good at IT, but only so-so at business. I created one that provides enough for me to make a living for myself and a small staff of employees, but not anywhere near getting rich. According to your position, I should be able to go to a banks, inflate the value of my properties, and maybe one of them will give me a loan so I can hire a GREAT business expert to manage my business and make me rich. Or does that only apply if your last name is Trump?

 

Better in THEIR pockets than in Trump's. The people of NY can use that money to hire more judges who can air their grievances quicker. Whereas it has already been demonstrated in a court of law that Trump might use that money to fool MORE people

And I showed you that it's not true. The banks and the public are victims. And not just the banks that gave him the loan. The banks that might have competed for the credit but didn't because they wouldn't downgrade their requirements for the sake of Trump.
