What freedoms has the side you oppose attempted or succeeded at denying you?

When I talk to both sides of the political coin, each act is if it is the other that is curtailing freedoms and that their own side is the defender of freedom. So to help me, and perhaps others better understand, I ask what freedoms has the opposition successfully taken away, denied you or is attempting to take from you?

 

If I listed them, there would be a fleet of black helicopters and a convoy of black SUVs surrounding my house.

 

The freedom I care most about is the 2nd A, and nothing is more aggressively working to remove that than the DNC criminal syndicate. The GOP is merely token opposition. If you need any argument about the left's aggression towards the 1st A I'm not going to waste time with you.

 

Living in Los Angeles, the dems have taken away my Second Amendment rights. At one point, someone stealing a gun from my home was committing a misdemeanor, but if I walk outside with my own gun, I am a felon.

CCWs were not issues to ordinary people, so only cops, judges, and criminals carried guns here.

1) freedom of self defense (the left has turned self defense against a black person into a hate crime instead of self defense)
2) freedom of parenting (Commiefornia wants to lock up parents that don't reply with the sex change requests of confused kids0
3) freedom of speech (the left wants to censor opposing views on social media, its like free speech is a toilet to them and Michael Moore is about to sit on that toilet after a huge mexican dinner)
4) freedom to protest (only lefties can protest now, look what happened to J6'rs. Look how they treated OLD people praying in front of a baby murder clinic (they practically treated them like the taliban)
5) I got about 20 more but totally feeling disgusted thinking of all of the freedoms the left has taken from me. Its getting stressful. I'm just gonna stop here.

 

The right to keep and bear arms. The right to property. The right to freedom of expression. The right to freely exercise religion. The right to due process. The right to privacy. The right to liberty.

 

It's illegal to feed birds, too.

 

The left, in many places, has taken away school choice.

They're trying to take away my cars and appiances.

Of course, the left has trampled on free speech.

With all else being equal, the left has made it harder for my son to advance in anything because he's the wrong color.

This is why both sides of this thing are in the wrong they both oppose rights. Democrats want to take away the right to own farms they have successfully encroached upon it quite a bit. They want to take away the right of people in minorities to succeed on their own merit.

The right wants to take away rights regarding LGBT. Birth control.

They both strongly oppose freedom of speech because it's used against them more than it's used for them.

We shouldn't play into this one side or the other thing this is how are country eventually gets doomed. It should be the people against the government. Anytime government wants to make a law to restrict anything that wasn't restricted before we should be very very suspicious of it because it's likely used to help out corporate cronies. They'll tell you it's about your safety but the most convincing way you get someone to agree to restrictions is tell them without the restriction you're in danger and big papa government is going to protect you because yeah that's what they do 120 million people in the 20th century killed almost completely by governments and they're totally going to protect you.

 

Well the NFA any kind of assault weapon ban. Attempts to band Ghost guns or Frankenstein guns or zombie guns or vampire guns or werewolf guns.

Requiring people to submit to a de facto registry wow lying to them and saying that it's a background track it's not.

Denying firearms to somebody who has a similar name to somebody else with a messed up background.

This ride is under a constant attack and it's strictly because the people that are attacking it what to do something to you that they would be revolted against for doing. The only reason to ban firearms in any way is so that we're a step closer to totalitarianism.

I feel that way about freedom of speech Fourth amendment rights infringements on the spirit of the 14th amendment. The attacks publicly mostly come from the left on the second amendment but the right does to they want to be your God just as bad as the left does. But they know if they came out and said it they would have absolutely no political clout.

I think the biggest problem here is that a lot of people get this idea that the government is like a mommy and it really should be more like a servant.

Drumming up fear is absolutely their biggest tool.

 

Fear is a helpful tool but paranoia is a thought killer.

I remember saying when I was growing up and it's so anti-human. Curiosity killed the cat. This is to instill paranoia to kill thought. Curiosity can be cautious.

The 2nd Amendment says "the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed". Any limits on gun ownership is a violation of the 2nd Amendment.
