Christianity is the stabilizing force of all humanity without which all human rights, globalization, peace, self-governance, and prosperity would not be possible.
hey, buddy, have a nice xmas? meantime, japan is a stable and peaceful (with the exception of one or two scuffles during WWII), self governing and prosperous nation - no jesus.
And yet, only 33% of the world claim to be67% christian. The other 67% must be wallowing in war, self pity, and despair. Good thing we can have 3 religions with the same God and they just want to kill each other.
Ethiopia is very Christian. They comprise mostly of the Ethiopian Orthodox and Coptic Christians. India, not so much, but there is the legend of St. Thomas where it was believed he founded Christianity there although there is no strong historical proof of this.
"What has been the world impact of Jesus?" Well for one thing, the war that killed the most number of Americans (the Civil War) ever would have likely been averted if Jesus hadn't approved of slavery, which of course the South used to justify (if Jesus accepted it it must be ok!) the most heinous crime (slavery) in human history. Jesus/god could have taken time out of his busy schedule of creating "acts of god" (tornadoes, etc. that kill thousands - and he gives us no warning) to simply INFORM us that slavery is indeed wrong, but he doesn't exist, so he didn't. To simply appear to a crowd while Jefferson Davis was speaking would have gone a long long ways towards that goal. But Jesus (and bigfoot, and Nessie) didn't think of that because they are just legends....or an immoral and don't care about us - either way not worthy of our worship of course. Believe in yourself, and not an imaginary friend.
There's a big difference between what he might have wanted his impact to be and what it has actually been. I.e., the blowhards have inherited the world, not the meek.
