    No. M is D, A is S. Subtraction is merely adding the negative of a number. Division is multiplying by the reciprocal. They are the same operation in a different form.

    Yes, it is pure human thought. And there are 7B people in the world. So 7B individual thoughts.

    I never put anyone on iggy. But I am sure I will be on yours. You hate being wrong. Which is a lot in this thread.

    For that to be correct, burgers would have to be 7.

    Cups = 10 3 cups = 30
    Burgers = 5 1 cup + 2 burgers = 20 10+5+5 =20
    Fries = 2 1 burger + 2 fries = 9 5+2+2 =9

    2 fries = 2
    but that's half of 2 fries so it's 1.
    5 + 1 x 10 = 15

    No, 2 fries = 4. If fries are 1 the 3rd equation wouldn't work.

    I still say 15 since it's fries = 1 and 2 fries = 2.

    The 3rd is getting 2 from 2 x 1.
    Fries = 1.

    nope.

    First equation gives us that drinks are 10.

    2nd equation gives us burgers are 5

    Third equation then becomes 5 + Fries + Fries = 9. Subtract 5 and you get Fries + Fries = 4.....That means Fries = 2.

    There are 4 fries to = 4. So each pack of fries = 1.

    Two packs each. What two packs each?

    Ooops. Two Packs each!
    Moral of the story, it doesn't matter how good your (my) mathematical skills are if your (my) observational skills suck.
