Democrats have some aims and beliefs Republicans seem to lack.

    1. Reduce carbon emissions to zero as soon as possible.

We should be willing to be as cold as Western Europe.

    2. Help other countries.

Our forefathers had in 1964 the clear-sighted vision in both houses to pass the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution:
So the United States invested lives, bombs, bullets, and a huge amount of money into bringing peace and security to Vietnam, and it arrived soon after we left

Republicans focus on helping our country while Democrats have a broader view of helping other countries, even if they don't want to be helped the way we think they should be helped.

This results in Democratic Party policies of confused goals, and confused people, and senior politicians trying to say they are 'laser focused'.

Not to be argumentative but doesn't reducing carbon emissions make the planet colder by reducing the greenhouse warming effect? Are we hurting the ability for less fortunate people to stay warm and limit their heating costs then by not releasing enough CO2 into the atmosphere?

    Yes.

But Democrats have been misled into switching to the context of a bigger picture - of the health of the planet.

I've heard a number of keen Democrats explain that humans are the problem - that we are destroying the planet through human activity.

I think there's a certain amount of self-hate going on,

and they have decided the US is the core of the problem and that is why they are destroying the US economy.

The gerbil warming fiction has always been about hating human civilization and all it stands for. Don't burn those logs in your fireplace or you'll destroy the ozone layer and it'll start raining in southern California.

The Media ridiculed Donald Trump, and now we have gone the opposite way - over the cliff.

Maybe we should have debated this all out and worked out what we wanted to do and what would work,

instead of trying the Democrat way for four years, to see how it worked out.

Two years into it and the dollar is being replaced as the world reserve currency, by the International Yuan.

And the Dems have forced Russia to ally with China, and with Brazil, India, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and pretty much everyone else.

Maybe the Dems should have left our country alone instead of taking it into their angst.
