Exactly. The court made no decision at all about banning or allowing abortion. They simply said that, according to the Constitution, it was not in the purview of the federal government. Each state (spell that V-O-T-E-R-S) should decide how to regulate (or not regulate) abortion.

Heller v US did something similar by holding that the federal government cannot "infringe" on the right to bear arms, but left the door open for the states to do so, within the limits allowed by the Constitution. Sound confusing? It is, that's why the Court is getting filled with cases addressing state attempts to regulate guns.

GOD! I'm glad I live in Texas where we don't get endlessly bothered with such silliness!

    TEXAS!!! WHERE FREEDOM LIVES!!!

Easy enough to understand, except that Republicans turned right around and tried to implement a federal level abortion ban.

which is unconstitutional as well. the federal government doesn't have that proper power either. While I have lots of issues with Lindsay Graham he did say the GOP has to have a reasonable alternative to abortion at any time for any reason

TRYING is different than DOING. There will always be a few radicals... on either side of ANY issue. The I can list some Democrats that are murderers. Does that mean ALL Democrats are murderers? Should I characterize the entire Democratic party as murderers? Probably not.

First, you are confusing bullet eith cartridge, second most anti gunners conflare the..223 with the AR platform whcihas two problems, fist is the contention the AR is a military 'stulevweapon... The military hasn't used the,233 in decades, msecond thr AR PLATFORM is found chambered in everything from the.22 to the,
we'll fist it's obvious the poster is ignored nt of firearm, confusing bullet with cartridge and second the AR is not equivalent to a single cartridge but a range of cartridges
To which bullet fired from anAR do you refer? Enlighten us... Expose your ignorance of firearms.

Back in the 60's I used that cartridge with my varmint rifle, a Winchester built action. An elephant killerfor sure if I ever been one.
then too, AR LOWERS can be used with bolt action, straight pull and punp action uppers which I can almost guarantee the vast majority of those wanting to Nan AR could never Know the difference,

Most of the anti gun types...and especially the ones i have seen on this site...are almost EAGER to show just how ignorant they are on a topic they constantly bleat on about. Like...literally PROUD that they know only what they have been told to think.

    Its tragic.

I had those things for years-idea for ridding my parents' house of bats since the dart didn't hurt the trial wall. There are a bunch of those spring steel darts with the plastic marble sticking in the trees behind where my parents used to live

I know exactly the ones you referenceback in the 70's... They were a out.40 Cal. Gave me the idea to scale the design using 1/2" conduit, about 7'with my darts made from 12" bamboo skewers with acetate cones and tipped wirh tiny a sharpened tin pointsthat worked qorked great for squirrel, a ND duck and bull frog ar anearby farm pond My current version is a commercial one two piece.625 with razor darts.
Not something,I would personally do, but query on toutube hunting bear with a blow gun or same feel ow hunting baboon with one.... No poison. A point I would make is that there are multiple tools for multiple tasks.
As for what Isa normal 'bullet' is a bit like asking, what is a normal bottle.

I bought a 38 caliber one 50 years ago. It came with a bag of those orange plastic "marbles" and you would cut the spring steel wire to length and my mom had a grinder for sharpening knives that worked better than the bastard file my father gave me. You'd cut the wire-heat it up to stick in the marble and then sharpen it, the more recent (like 15 years ago COLD STEEL blowguns were 40 and my son bought all sorts of darts that hide in various parts of my indoor archery range, workshop and tractor storage barn.

I don't want a normal bullet, I want a Hollywood magic Bullet..., and a Hollywood pocket pistol, and a Hollywood spressor, Hollywood optics for Mt AR, and the ability to heal from wounds overnight, yet still be fully combat effective until I heal.
    Let's see,.223 upper ot my.458 SOCOM?

I want the John Wayne six shooter that can slay half the charging Apache Hordes. I want the Don Johnson Miami Vice Mac 10 that fires at full auto for 30 seconds with one magazine.

Get two of each, I drive out to you.
I never put 2 and 2 together, when Dems talk high capacity 'clips' they are thinking of those from Hollywood. Where does Hollywood Shop?
Growing up in Northern Ireland watching John Wayne Movies taught us about America and when I came despite my normal skepticism, I was disappointed when I went to Texas..... That can't be the real Alamo. John Wayne blew it up at the end.

rationally run states do not either. most of the laws designed to only limit the freedom of those with clean records are idiotic-magazine bans are among the most stupid
