Diversity is not a source of strength, but of social discord. The growing diversity of the United States is the ultimate reason for the political polarization that makes it difficult for the government to deal with problems that would have been manageable before 1964.

The only diversity that is really important is diversity of opinion. The partisans of diversity of race, ethnicity, and national origins frequently try to suppress opinions different from theirs.

That was not directed at you. It was directed at Wild bill. Your post however used a meme, not actual stats or evidence on the issue. Yes, there is a mean in which numbers are lower for blacks than whites or Asians. But using a mean score does not indicate intelligence in a race or ethnicity. It simply means that is the mean score for that particular group. Nothing more, nothing less

Asians treat education almost like a religion. This is what their scores reflect. Football, especially HS football, in my state is treated almost like a religion as well. But that does not reflect the scores. The reason why scores for whites is that most whites generally are in suburbia with better schools, better resources, and better economic opportunities. Blacks and Hispanics are generally in urban areas where economic opportunities and education resources are more limited, generally. This is based on the tax base from suburbia and urban that are different. So, socioeconomic factors have a lot to do with these scores. I have not seen any racism in the SATs, but I do see other factors that show the reason why the mean scores are there based on race/ethnicity.

Actually it is. Take a look at American food. We don't have natural "American food." What we have are inventions that use a variety of ethnic sources. Take italian food, or American italian food. Or American Chinese food. Or simply American comfort food, which has a lot of basis from African slaves. But yes, diversity is our strength, our biggest strength, even in today's terms.

In today's terms, we are a large charcuterie board with a whole bunch of exotic cheeses and some basic crackers. That is probably the best way to describe American culture today. Even each state has its own culture based on its own history. My state, Texas, is infused with Mexican/Spanish culture and white caucasian culture from Virginia, Tennessee, and elsewhere. But we have a large Asian influence, and a diverse economy, environment, and people. You can have a mosque and a Jewish Synagogue within 6 blocks of each other and the Rabbi and the Iman will have lunch once a month or so.

I agree that diversity of food is interesting. I like ethnic restaurants, ethnic shops, and ethnic festivals. Those who do not enjoy that sort of thing should not be pressured to participate in it.

For me the most important freedom is intellectual freedom. It is my impression that woke people try to suppress intellectual freedom.

it is how you define wokeness. Woke was the woman's suffrage movement, the civil rights movement of the 1960s to today, and other things. I think people are more aware of social injustice because of the internet, that is what "woke" really is.

The problem we have is not woke, it is consistency. Universities were not consistently protecting Jewish people on college campuses but they did protect everyone else. That is not woke. That is one major ****up by the University to provide a safe environment for everyone. Universities go to great lengths to protect women from college rape or inflamatory rhetoric to whatever group is on campus. Large college campuses, such as the University of Texas at Austin, Ohio State University, Texas A&M, and others are generally a microcosm of our society. Even to some extent private, religious universities like Liberty are like this, but anything with a Democratic name is actually forbidden to be associated with that university. That is their prerogative, and does not censure anyone, does it?

Oh! Yes it is! Diversity is the spice of life! It is only a source of social discord if you let it be.

Don’t get me wrong - we still have racism but it is ans should be a shameful thing

And all those “ethnic” come with a rich diversity of people. People you can choose to either befriend or alienate. Which one will enrich your life?

Our Chinese food is this: the Chinese restaurant is owned by Vietnamese or Koreans, cooked by Hispanics, and served rapido to Caucasians who think the food is the next best thing to sliced bread.

Woke people would suppress arguments that the woman's suffrage movement and the civil rights movement were well intentioned mistakes. I would want to examine those arguments.

My admiration for Jews and East Asians has gotten me banned from white nationalist websites.

So do far right people. That was evident in some of the school board meetings in Virginia. It is not a left v right issue on suppression the arguments being made. Even Trump does this with his
"fake news" and other methods. He even had a Muslim women escorted off the premises. She did not say a word whatsoever, wore nothing provocative, and was interested in what he was saying before she made up her mind.

I hate Trump because he cut taxes for the rich, and because of his character and personality.

Nevertheless, those on the right do not try to suppress those who agree with me that global warming is a serious problem. Those on the left do try to suppress the assertions of race realism.

Those that agree with you do not suppress those that agree with them. Those that suppress do so to those that don't agree with them.

However, for someodd reason, although you hate trump, you still defend him and support him nonetheless, do you?

And this is a bad thing? I once had to visit Stormfront ( I was moderating a board like this) five showers and teeth cleaning later I still did not feel clean

It is a made up term to try to justify censorship.

I have never defended Trump. I understand his appeal to whites who feel disinherited by the Democratic Party. I am a white, heterosexual, Christian male. I know I will never become rich, and that Republican economic policies do not benefit me. When the Democratic Party advanced the economic interests and social concerns of men like me the Democratic Party dominated the United States.

I still vote Democrat out of habit. When I vote Democrat I am really voting against the Republican Party. I wish I had reasons to vote for the Democratic Party.

White racism is not responsible for black social pathology. Black social pathology is responsible for white racism. East Asians and Jews faced persecution and discrimination in the United States. They overcame it by behaving and performing well. Those whites who continue to dislike them resent their success and their prosperity.

I established a profile on Stormfront. I knew I would be banned as soon as I began to express my opinions. The first week I was there I contributed to a thread on pre Christian Germanic myth and legend. That is a subject I have studied.

The second week I became more daring and contributed to a thread on Mein Kampf. I have read Mein Kampf from cover to cover. When I pointed out that a criticism Hitler made of German Jews was factually incorrect I was suspended. Then I was banned.

Hate speech is speech that is designed to deliberately inflict pain (sometimes including death) upon a target group of people. Most hate speech has a racial background, but gender, sexuality, ideology or religion can very well also play a role in this. Hate speech is used as a mechanism to invoke and carry out stochastic terrorism.

And is is sad as **** that we even have to be discussing this for if ever person out there would use the golden rule in life, we wouldn't even need to have this conversation about the most bottom-level of human decency.

THIS is how far the USA has fallen.

    It's very, very sad.

Why does your data stop at the year 2008? That's nonsensical.

You seem to be very, very focused on black people.

    LOL

Racists have a really hard time hiding their ugly racism.

Hate speech affects many, many groups of people across the world, not just "blacks" and yet, you are writing left and right about "blacks"

    LOL

I am confident that little if anything has changed since 2008.
