All I know is it's tax free and I have an idea to put to my school the local council should I actually when Student Presidency and have to listen to £100k before my school a private LTD (LLC in the UK) about going non profit upon hitting this... So... I googled: entrepreneur Croydon council and up came SEIS with them... So I googled it and now all I know is, it's tax free and... International? IDK... My plan is to get a working relationship with them (the town) and us (the school); I have a bold and ambitious plan to put to my school if I don't like the route of switching to non profit status. Naturally I want to see the perceived benefit of switching an LTD to a non profit at this... and I want to know the cost of NOT switching to non profit and... Then I want to get as much help as I can to work with the local council maybe and sell my school with my town and create a holding company to offset and in the event of £100k being around to make it needed for non profit... I want to then use it all, parent company (the school) and my proposed holding company for this school to have to eat up the budget a bit and reinvest in the students and the town... And yes, I would love any input from Croydon council about this. - So, should I get into this position, I plan to ask the board if I can start dialogue with my council/local authority. Also, if I get this thing (President who has to protect the constitution that I read that spoke about this plan at £100k).. I want to know TO WHOM will be the beneficiaries? If we're going to go non profit, I plan to ask 'for who?'. Now, that aside, my proposal and my town might need SEIS or... SEIS is just everything and it's what investing is called, IDK. Do you? What is a SEIS? I say town, it is a town, and my plan is for the town and our school in the town but... This council which is also in town, is a London Borough Council... So, not a town council as such, but a borough one - just happens to be in town...
