For years I've been trying to find a general term to call all of you who are part of the "freedom/liberty/democracy/republic/independence-type" ideologies. Something with as much convenience as "Communists" or "Fascists". I consider both Liberals and Conservatives to fit under this unknown category, since, while their methods differ, they both have many similar values. Specifically when trying to appear as the more "free" and "good" side.
