    Yeah, I post a reply that's more than a couple of paragraphs long and puff...its gone into PF heaven. IRRITATING to say the least.

    HP DL380 running VM Ware with 3 images. 2 for load balancing and 1 for backup would be just fine.

    That's the reason I come and go. It gets aggravating waiting on every page to load after awhile. I do like this forum though. It's the only reason I do return from time to time.

    You are very correct, dairyair.

    Oftentimes, I will finish my response, hit "submit reply" and nothing happens. It's as if the server or software system suddenly freezes up.

    I wait awhile and hit "submit reply" again. The system suddenly responds and when it does I find I have entered two responses, not one.

    I then have to go back and delete the first response.

    The software system for this site should not behave this way!

    Yeah, if you check the Forum Feedback section (where this one will be shortly)... you'll find lots of threads about the site's performance.

    Just look for somebody wearing this shirt... they'll explain the problem.
