If you could pick any musicians alive or dead to be in a band together, who would you pick? I would pick Eric Clapton on guitar, John Entwistle on bass, and Neil Peart on drums as a power trio. These are arguable three of the greatest musicians of all time on their respective instruments. There would be no need for a rythym guitarist, since Clapton and Entwistle both have the ability to play a rythym style in addition to their lead/bass playing, and Peart is probably the single greatest drummer of all time. He is technically perfect, and can play insanely fast while keeping to even more insanely intricate patterns. Clapton and Entwister are both also talented singers and songwriters, though Clapton is the obvious superior.
