I'm thinking of trying one of these recipies - which do you think looks better?
Fish stew but NO coconut milk.. It shouldn't be sweet. Prepare your base and let it simmer for 30 minutes.. Dust any white fish with just a little flour and fry until nearly done.. drain and break up into the base. Charleston style.. You will love it.
I gagged thinking about the fish stew... not my thing. The other's not bad, but I'd use a cut-up chuck roast instead of ground meat. Try this one on a cold winter's day. I add 6-8 fire-roasted, peeled, seeded & chopped poblano pepeprs (or Hatch if you can find 'em). Add a little chicken or vegetable broth for added liquid. Mmmmm, very tasty.
