Which is why conservatives would never pass laws restricting a woman's right to choose or against gay people being able to choose to get married ... Oh. Never mind.
Bunch of superficial crap here. Most of the time a conservative tries to define what a liberal thinks, they condense it to a simple and sentence ( not even a compound sentence), and spin it out of all recognition. Its always a waste of everyone's time to debate or discuss things founded on a trumped up and ludicrous premise. Sometimes there isn't even a seed of truth to the assertions. The author does not know what we believe, nor does he care.
Neither side of the rotten authoritarian fence. Conservatives love the nanny state when it suits them. The government exists to micromanage lives, you believe. You just quibble over which areas need to be micromanaged. It's not even a fence between conservatives and liberals, it's a chalk line which is frequently wiped away. The difference between the authoritarian conservative and authoritarian liberal is negligible to any true lover of liberty and ideals upon which this country was founded.
but tool men conservative know how to geterdone, liberal foolisher/philosophers are all over the map and get lost
A stereotype fit for the consumption of the biased. A part of the problem is the us vs them mentality practiced by too many on both sides.
Well given the proscriptive binary categories and characterisations youre promoting, youre building the fence so youre deciding which side I end up on. I personally dont associate with either of the petty stereotypes your image depicts and I think anyone who labels everyone as either conservative or liberal is worse than anything they attribute to either fictional grouping. So Ill be over here taking a metaphorical axe to your fictional fence.
Conservative political platform... If a conservative doesn't like foreigners, he bans them If a conservative thinks abortion is immoral, he bans it If a conservative thinks you are an unbeliever, he converts you If a conservative doesn't like gay people, he bans gay marriage See how you can't generalize any platform.....
A funny email, I'm sure. I think I get what it implies, even if none or most of the situations are generally true. For example "Happy Christmas" or "Happy Holidays"?
