They're being made to fear out of ignorance. It is the liberal academic and media establishment that scares them, not Trump. They don't bother to listen to or read his words. They only know what they hear from sources like slate.com. The author begins with the Saudi students. I can only hope they'll choose not to come; or better yet, someone in the State Dept. convinces Trump they shouldn't be allowed in. It's madness. It's what Trump would call a bad deal. They get good education. We get nothing in return except for the colleges getting money. Here's the part that struck me. I picked out actual Trump quotes cited in the article, as well as true statements about his stated plans. Oh, the ban on Muslims business! None of this is in any way immoral, nor shameful, nor unconstitutional. Frankly, I hope it concerns them. Those with extreme ideology completely contrary to our laws, our traditions, our values have no business being here. This must be why the rioters are upset. They're afraid they'll be out of business. Again, if this concerns you, GOOD. That is the point. Now find me a rational American voting citizen unconcerned about criminal illegal aliens. What the...?! So far we've quoted Trump on Muslims from war torn nations of extremists and criminal illegal aliens. What the hell does that have to do with normal people seeking an education? Seriously, folks. What the hell kind of nonsense is this? Sorry, we're at war here. It might be more difficult for you to enter our country for awhile. Do you believe these people? Yes, he was elected in part to stop tens of thousands of unaccompanied immigrant children from entering and becoming the conduit for which the rest of their families arrive. That is inhumane. It's also against the will of the American people. Is this what make Donald Trump a hater? Really? "Some of them, I assume, are good people." That's what Trump said after he asserted Mexico was "not sending their best" and instead are sending rapists and drug dealers. He did not characterize all Latinos and Hispanics as criminals. This sort of "hands up, don't shoot" lie has reached critical mass and cannot be undone. But let it be a lesson. Truth doesn't matter to people with extremist agendas. My God, we're already winning. Kalok, not only will you still survive, you'll thrive. If Trump denies immigrants of anything at all to protect American citizens, he's fulfilling his highest obligation. It's in the constitution. I hope while you're here being fed all the anti-American crap in college, you'll take the time to read it.
I like the part where education for money is a bad deal for America when Muslims from "terror prone countries" do it, but education for money is a fine deal when Americans do it. Let's do some algebra and subtract [education for money] from both sides... oh look at that you don't like Muslims.
Trump is not opposed to legal immigration. Being here to study is a good thing so long as you go through the proper channels and get a visa. Trump won voters with some college anyway. He has an incentive to import them now
