    I'm not sure I see it as optimism. Optimism usually drives action. What you're talking about seems more likely wishful thinking, because it's passive.

    Once the numbers are adjusted for WITH Covid and FROM Covid you're going to see a serious reduction in that number.

    If it wasn't for 8 democrat led states forcing Covid infected 80 year olds into nursing homes our death toll would be lower than the flu.

    Again we have to ask ourselves, how is the death rate in 1st world nations high, and the death rate in 3rd world nations so low?

    Most of the global flu deaths every year hit 3rd world countries the hardest, yet this is not happening with Covid.

    If we love our elderly so much, why do we shove them into nursing homes instead of taking care of them in our homes?

    What's the dividing line between dying FROM Covid-19 vs dying WITH Covid-19?

    that's because the liquor stores remained open and we could buy beer and mixed drinks to-go from restaurants.

    We drowned that virus with alcohol
