What would happen to America if tomorrow, all rich people were gone?

Definition of "Rich": Annul income ≥ 1,000,000. I think it's a pretty fair definition, not being drastic or anything.

Abducted by Aliens, teleported to another galaxy, sucked into wormholes and ended up in another symmetrical universe. I don't care.

What would happen?

But I'm making liberals' job much harder. In that thread, I was pointing out the absurdity of the mentality that rich people not only don't contribute to the society, but somehow harms the society.

Of course most liberals see where I was going and knew in their hearts and guts that I am right, so instead of defending the indefensible, they choose to derail the discussion and divert the attention to the concentration of wealth which, is completely irrelevant.

So, what would happen?
