Well, for starters he very handsome.I refer back to cover of
GQ Magazine.Yes,like his V.P. was heard saying " He's clean
and well spoken." Maybe TOO well spoken.Easily confused as being
Slick. We already had one of them.A Slick President.
Obama is also a nice dresser, however his choice of ties is either
    Red,Off Red.or Blue.Off blue.Maybe Obama ain't that Radical after
    all.I mean,we aren't talkin' Mt.T or - SHAFT's - Richard Roundtree.
And surely not Huggy Bear of - Starsky & Hutch -.Maybe more like
a skinny version of the captain { Bernie Hamilton }.
Obama couldn't be compared to Stepin' Fetchit in any areas except names.
Real Name ... Lincoln Theodore Monroe Andrew Perry .
Obama has a secret penchant to be like Great Presidents past.
Hold it.Yes Stepin did benefit immensely by not bucking the hollywood
studio system, becoming THE First Black Millionaire in Hollywood.
And he was quite Literate, even though was known to mumble lines
that he found too tacky. However whites liked the image of a black man
with eyes rolling around talking gibberish.Perry or Fetchit wrote for the
premieur African American newspaper," The Chicago Defender " early in
his hayday.Yet by 1960 he was a charity case in Chicago, this highly
recognizable, lovable character actor who had the good grace to skip or
mumble lines he did not like, pretending to be too stupid to comprehend the
    script.
So ... the question arises ... What's to Like about Obama.
Maybe he too is putting on an act.The converse of Stepin.
That being to ... Act smarter than his real self.
    Food for thought.

Actually that is a bad thing. Nothing. There is absolutely nothing to like about this president. I think I respect Jimmy Carter more.

Unless Mitch McConnel and John Boehner are fibbers, they say he's
    a nice guy in private.That's a strength.
We already Know Barney Frank is ever alarming Putz.Same with
    Nancy Pelosi {extremely private and uppity}

I respect the current President than I do his predecessor.

His predecessor couldn't speak a full sentence of english without stumbling or mispronouncing simple words.

He allowed this country to get dragged into a war with a country that allegedly was in possession of weapons of mass destruction that cost over 100,000 humans their lives. Oh and they never found any-so-called weapons of mass destruction.

He was ridiculed by leaders of the free world for being a simple minded Buffoon unable to act in most situations unless Cheney was there to direct him behind the scenes.

He inherited a balanced budget and within 9 months managed to create a deficit that wiped out the surplus the Federal Government had in reserve.

The current President may not be the best President we've had, but he's doing his best in spite of the leadership of the opposition doing everything to make him a one-term president. I'd take him anytime over his predecessor.

Yeah but the OP question is ... What do you LIKE about This President.
    Not being Bush is unacceptable.
Barbara Streisand isn't Bush, what does that prove.

I like him because he leaves organized labor alone unlike others who meddle.

I feel you are manifestly mistaken.Bush did nothing to meddle with
Unions. He had more important things on his plate.Like keeping us from
    another 9/11.
Obama,on the hand has done everything possible to kowtow to
Unions or Labor.Andy Stern { SEIU } and Richard Trumka were THE
most welcome guests at the White House.Trumka even bragged he
    went there almost every weekday.
Another unacceptable and totally wrong addition to the OP.

Obama has done literally nothing for the labor movement, other then have dinner with a few labor leaders. He has however done nothing of substance for labor.
