Breaking Bad. But the original Star Trek series will forever have a place in my heart and make me feel like a six-year old again.
Loved Star Trek, The Wire, Deadwood, Breaking Bad But I go way back to 1968 for "The Prisoner" as the best ever, I just watched it again recently, and it held up very well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Prisoner
Too hard to pick. I like the new ones better than most of the old ones. Breaking Bad is incredible but Rome and the new Battlestar Galactica are pretty close picks. Anything by Joss Whedon (other than Buffy) is great.
So many contenters. But it has to be: The Wire I believed I've watched the entire series completely thru about 6 times over the years.
Oh this is hard. I would be easier to pick via genre since I like different shows for different reasons. If I had to pick on though it would be Star Trek simply because its one of the few shows that I can sit and watch episodes of even if I have seen them many times. I love shows like Breaking Bad, Hell on Wheels, Justified and others but once I have seen an episode I don't have any interest in seeing it again. Firefly was good but mostly because of Summer Glau how is SMOKING HOT. If she offered to sleep with you if she paid you $20 would anyone say no to her? EDIT: Holy giant pic Batman. How do you make that smaller?
Firefly was amazing. Too bad it didn't make a second season, I think it could have gone far...or at least further....that what it did. I used to watch a lot of Dead Like Me too....another one they cut off without warning.
Oh too many choices MASH Startrek Buffy Hill Street Blues Friday Night Lights And too many others I am probably not thinking of right now.
The Untouchables. Robert Stack was superb as Eliot Ness. Walter Winchell was a great narrator, whose lines kept you interested. And I liked the way the guys ripped apart the gangs in real-life true stories. Hell of a bunch of characters in those shows, and they were all real-life people.
The Wire. The Shield. Breaking Bad. Deadwood. Southland. Veronica Mars. Battlestar Galactica. Justified. Six Feet Under. Firefly. The X-Files. Chuck. 24. Dexter. Damages. Fringe. Lost. Burn Notice. Heroes. Smallville. Everwood. The O.C. Everybody Loves Raymond. Survivor.
Jeez.......... I don't know. Buffy, Breaking Bad, Dexter, Firefly, Rome.............. can't pick, too many!
Some of my favorites old and new, Star Trek, House of Cards, Firefly, Sons of Anarchy and, of course, Breaking Bad. Can't forget Twilight Zone.
Lots of really good shows, but even my favorite series have had some lemon seasons or episodes. Except Breaking Bad. I realize there are two episodes left so I may be jinxing myself but as far as pure quality goes, Breaking Bad is making the top of my list. There hasn’t been a lemon episode in the whole series…so far. It has the feel of a series that was planned from beginning to end without the writers “playing it by ear”. I just hope the final episode doesn’t reveal that Walt has been in some cancer induced coma and the whole thing was a dream.
Dexter was good up till the season with John Lithgow which I consider to be the best season. They really should have ended it there as it has been downhill since then. I literally stopped watching after he hooked up with the hippie chick. That and the whole thing with his sister. The only reason she is on that show is because he is banging her as she is not a very good actress.
