Yes certainly. I have worked with blacks who owed their positions to affirmative action, and why were clearly not performing adequately.

Any social assitance program that is based on race instead of need is saying exactly that.

Yes. That is a real problem. And it is increased, not decreased, by the pushing of racial proxy thinking.

What school notifies their admits that they were an AA admit?

Sixty thousand applicants pay more than $80 just to submit an application. Out of that, they pick 2,000. On top of that, they use criteria that are NOT limited to grades or test scores. The competition is seriously tough and Harvard accepts NOBODY that isn't judged to be fully capable of success at Harvard.

Nobody outside of the admissions office is in a position to know who wouldn't have made it without some specifically AA related factor. And, even they would have to go over the data to try to figure it out.

So they lack transparency. That's not a good thing.

Yes, white supremacists argue this all the time. Anything that could possibly reduce racism is seen as being racist.

    Of course, they LIKE racism.

I would suggest that when we choose to do nothing, racism thrives.

Come on, Jolly. You're better than that.

No, they are transparent about how they run admissions.

They just aren't transparent about why a specific named individual was admitted - they don't publicize that individual's test scores, family income, essays and other material supporting their acceptance decision. Good lord!

The same is true of hospitals. There are extensive record kept, but epidemiologists and those who study hospital practice don't get the patient's name.

That’s not what it is. Listen to it. It won’t hurt a bit. Maybe.

Tell me what is says in your own words. If you cannot do that you do not understand it.

White supremacy is founded on proxy thinking. It is founded on race being held as important and key to a person's identity. Agreeing with those two foundations support it. Disagreeing with those two foundations oppose it.

Racial discrimination has been fading slowly over time since it has become taboo. The social taboo of it is important. Making it socially acceptable again is a recipe for going backwards.
