When is the dedicated COVID sub going away?

It's laughable seeing how people are so easily brainwashed by the WEF controlled governments and MSM 'covidian viron' pandemic FARCE.

You would first have to believe that your government (or any other government) actually gives one shit about your health.

These are the same world governments who actually allow their own citizens to be poisoned with toxic chemicals in the food supply and water supply, and allow them to consume drugs, alcohol and other toxic pharmaceuticals products that don't heal or cure, but make the recipients health far worse.

 

Maybe its not common where you are, but I still see a lot of people wearing their mask while driving in their car or walking outside alone...

 

I don't ...much. Its about like when I see people wearing a Che shirt. Its their right and certainly doesn't hurt me, but I still gotta wonder wth they're thinking...

 

Anything that has a huge amount of interest could be a candidate for its own subtopic area. Isn't that obvious?

We should continue the discussion started by you folks who insist your rights were violated by public health measures designed to reduce the spikes in covid cases that lead to more sick people in need of hospital care. Those measures may have prevented the healthcare system from being overwhelmed with covid patients. What should we have done when we were hit with the Delta variant? Nothing? Something other than what was done?

Like John Kay said: "Things look bad from over here, too much confusion and no solution."

Some of us think it's important to avoid overloading hospitals if we can, should that become an issue again.

As long as we don't run into a more deadly variant, I think so.

You're wrong because people now see you as a menace. When you stop demanding your "rights" and start talking about what should be done, you might be viewed positively.

 

Dear Ethereal, WHY are you so obsessed to have the Covid thread shut down or to be merged with other health threads?
Please, understand, there are some elderly people on this board who would like to check up specifically on the progress and news about Covid. I am one of those people! Instead of spending endless time searching for postings about covid, getting lost and frustrated, I can just click on the Covid forum/thread and have all the info about it in regular order available.
Am I perhaps misunderstanding you?

 

Why come here for your “Covid” information when you can just turn on your Tell-A-Vision set and trust everything the global governments who are all in cahoots with their MSM mouthpieces on this sham pandemic.

You don't seem inclined to accept the reality of covid. A million people died, mostly old, mostly poor. Almost every older person knows someone who died or came close to dying. Many millions reduced purchases of in-person services without any prompting from government. Now that effective treatments and vaccines make covid less of a threat, many older people have begun to relax and return to traveling, dinning out, and shopping at malls. You seem inclined to believe your politics have moved them to change their minds. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Most people have come to see you as a menace. They're tired of you guys carrying on about your "rights." Tired of you pretending all those people who died didn't matter and maybe died for some other reason. They don't trust your judgment. It's too bad they aren't concerned about making sure that whatever measures government takes in a pandemic are science-based and effective. You turned it into a gong show just like leftwingers do with protests about police when they come off as people the police should arrest.

Huge amount of interest? Among who? I go to downtown Chicago and see like one person wearing a mask out of thousands. The only ones still letting COVID hysteria govern their lives are few and far between. Giving them their own subforum to continue obsessing is not warranted by any objective standard. All you have to do is look at the engagement with this subforum over time. It's plummeted.

 

We already have a Healthcare subforum. People are free to discuss whatever health-related issues they want there, including COVID. I am merely saying that COVID issues don't deserve their own forum, as this somehow implies that COVID is more important than the myriad of other diseases and health problems. Why not have a subforum dedicated specifically to cancer or heart disease? Or a subforum dedicated to infectious diseases as a whole? Why does COVID deserve to be singled out as special long after society has moved on from the panic and hysteria that characterized the initial response?

 

Sorry, I forgot only you are allowed to whine... about germs, about Trump, about imaginary "racists" and "fascists"...

I just learned that Covid Deniers believe that COVID does not exist, Influenza does not exist, we are all sick from electromagnetic frequencies.

And its just a complete coincidence that my wife got sick after i got sick, and we both tested positive for covid. I didn't actually spread anything to her. Its just coincidence.
