Burger King is not present here, so I can evaluate only McDonald's. In Italy there have been resistances to accept the Fast Food model, anyway they are not that bad.
Though I rarely eat this type of food (perhaps three times a year)....I most certainly prefer a whopper over a Big Mac.
Burger King's burgers are superior in taste. My wife does not like meat, but will eat a McDonalds burger. BK 's burgers taste like burgers.
I read once that Ray Kroc, McDonalds founder, said McDonalds sells the three C's: convenience, consistency, and cleanliness. Where I live, Oaxaca, Mexico, I would have to say McDonalds beats Burger King on the three C's without a doubt. As for the quality of the hamburgers, it's a toss-up for me. If I really want a good hamburger I don't go to either.
I used to favor Burger King big time over McDonald's. I still think Burger King burgers taste better. That said, I have found the facilities/service at Burger King to have gone majorly downhill in the last 5 or 6 yrs. I'm almost to the point where I'm afraid to eat at Burger King, due to cleanliness issues. At one time I thought it was just the closest BK, but I'm finding more and more low quality BKs around every year. McD's food is inferior, IMHO, but I'm not afraid that I'm going to get food poisoning.......
Crap.... or flame-broiled crap..... I guess the fact that I appreciate quality explains why I go to neither.
none of the above. There are others that are better than both. But, when I'm really hungry (and I have to be really hungry) and don't have the time to eat something decent..I prefer those Burger King $1.59 double cheese burgers. Quick, easy and by the time I pull out and stop at the first red light, it's gone and I'm full temporarily. Carl's ain't too bad. Bigger menu. In and Out sucks. I never once got a hot burger there. Wendy's should be put out of business.
