Which party doesn't need to be constantly at war, usually on the other side of the planet? I think this is the most important issue as wars: 1. supply half of the National Debt, 2. and therefore determine what our dollar will be worth next year The wars we get involved in will determine our future.

So it is going to be down to individual politicians and the public to restrict our urge for war.
If it is claimed the US is under an external threat then our first action would be to close the border. And because that hasn't been done, Biden's claims that countries w, x, y, and z are threats to us are insincere.
Daddy Bush went to war against Iraq liberate Kuwait. That was probably the correct thing to do although a more powerful Iraq going to war with Iran might been a good for the world as long as neither of them had nuclear weapons. It was sort of like Nazi Germany versus the Soviet Union prior to World War II. They both sucked so picking a side with white hats was impossible. Sonny boy Bush stumbled when he started the war with Iraq. That was stupid. He didn’t have much choice in Afghanistan because we had to kill bin Laden after the 9/11 attack. The trouble is we stayed around for the nation building BS, which has rarely worked out. The last time it worked was Japan after World War II, but that was a rare exception. Now Israel is out one reliable partner in the Middle East. We give gobs of money to Egypt, yet when we needed them to open their border to help us out with refugees from Gaza, they dragged their feet.
Russia needs to be at war with someone at all times for the same reason that Oceania constantly had to be at war with someone -- to keep Big Brother (Putin) in power indefinitely.

Trump ordered to drop bomb in Syria and then went on CNN and told he bombed Iraq. The guy can’t even remember which country he bombed.
