There's a significant amount of hyperbole, vitriol, and hysteria in the opposition of the current administration as there was a significant amount of hyperbole, vitriol, and hysteria in the opposition of the previous administration.

Which has been more rampant? Bush Derangement Syndrome or Obama Derangement Syndrome?

I voted for Bush. Simply because he had 2 terms while Obama is still in his first.

But the vitriol and extreme hatred for anything Obama............including the First Lady for crying out loud is astounding. :omg:

Even during the BDS Bush hating years I don't remember anyone calling Mrs. Laura Bush a fat ass or an angry (color of skin) woman.

I have a lot more experience with ODS because of the area I live in, so I'll have to go with that. I'm sure if I lived in say, San Francisco, It would be more towards BDS.

I think they are about equal. Both are very silly in my opinion. I didn't agree with a lot of things Bush did but never hated him. I'm sure reasonable people on the other side (like McCain for instance) feel the same way about Obama that I do about Bush. There are a lot of unreasonable people on both sides out there. I suspect there are a higher percentage of them online than in the bricks and mortar world.
