    That same line of thinking lead to the myth that Al Qaeda was created by the CIA. Most of ISIS capabilities were not supplied by the US, and those that were, were indirectly and unwillingly.

    he worked for the CIA under Bush, he kept documents when he was fired and released them, he was just now found guilty for those crimes

    Strange...Sterlings defenders here say he exposed a corrupt CIA. But Sterlings defense is that he did not expose anything. So did he did or did he didn't? It looks like the problem is the New York Times reporter James Risen, who wanted to make a name for himself.

    From http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way...ing-former-cia-officer-convicted-of-espionage :

    "A former CIA officer who was accused of giving a journalist classified information about U.S. plans to spoil Iran's nuclear program has been convicted of espionage in federal court."

    This conflicts with what your article says about blowing the whistle on planting false evidence. Where can I learn about how "false evidence was planted" ?

    Yes, and according to my article it was stuff related to spoiling Iran's nuclear program. Not planting evidence of nuclear weapons. So which is it? A jury of the man's peers seems to have decided it was espionage.

    For the record; some, several citizens in some several States do hereby proclaim, declaim, declare, and perchance even decry;

    that there is no recourse to secrecy laws without wartime tax rates to Prove such an exigency exists in our Republic, if, at least, the wealthiest are not being burdened with wartime Tax rates of the Other Peoples Tax monies.

    Iraq has little to do with the issue and the President does not control everything the CIA does.

    so it's Obama fault when people thought it happened under Obama, but when it's discovered it happened under Bush, it's the CIA's fault?

    Hell yeah, frame Iran and pound the bastards into the Stone Age. Throw the "whistle blower" in some dungeon. If this had succeeded we could be bombing Iran now instead of going through these negotiations that are only going to cause the spilling of a lot more American blood on the future.

    The myth is yours. The US did create Al Qaeda to fight the Russians in Afghanistan during their occupation of that country during the 1980's. There a great deal of corroboration about this. Try HERE for just one.

    The CIA never trained or funded directly Bin Laden, and they were also very carefull who they supplied weapons to. Most of US supports went to the afghan warlords who later in 2001 known as the Northern alliance helped the US forces.

    The rebel movements in Libya and Syria are polluted with AQ and AQ affiliates. Who do you think was responsible for Benghazi or the slaughter of Christians? It certainly wasn't Gaddafi and Assad.

    If anyone is going to cause the blood of Americans to be spilled, it's extremists who want to commit genocide against Iran.

    The CIA's long and notorious record of criminal and depraved acts is not a matter of debate among educated people, nor is their consistent attempts to cover up or otherwise keep secret their crimes and depravity through the use of state secrets doctrines and the like. People demanding direct evidence of their culpability in relatively recent criminal acts are either unaware of how the CIA operates or are purposely ignoring the fact that they are a SECRETIVE organization who has committed many, many criminal acts under the cover of secrecy, all while they denied culpability and viciously attacked and prosecuted whoever happened to expose them. So, no, there is no direct evidence that the CIA was planting this to frame Iran, just as there was no direct evidence that the CIA overthrew Iran's democratically elected leader in 1953, but after so many decades of crime and lies, it beggars belief for anyone to give the CIA the benefit of the doubt when it comes to corruption.

    Where are the extremists (with power) calling for genocide against Iran? I see plenty calling for annihilation of the West, US, Israel, Christians and all other religions.
