There's enough evidence to investigate Joe Biden. We know this because of the information on his son's laptop and the bank records that show shell companies were set up to hide money.

Allegedly there is a text to Hunter's Chinese business partner, Henry Zao, where Hunter directly implicated his father in his business deals with China. Knowledge of the text released today by House Oversight committee. The DOJ is a disgrace for hiding what they already know about all this from the American public.

Whistleblowers Reveal Alleged Text of Hunter Biden Demanding Cash From Chinese Business Partner, Warned of Consequences From ‘My Father’
Whistleblowers revealed on Thursday an alleged text message where Hunter Biden demanded payment from a Chinese business partner by invoking his father's name.

Hunter Biden Demanded Cash From Chinese Business Partner (mediaite.com)

    The Text:

Biden probe since November 2018 claimed the agency initially recommend felony charges against the president’s son. Moreover, the whistleblowers claim the Department of Justice “intervened” and “overstepped” to delay the probe.

Smith revealed an encrypted text message that showed the younger Biden threatening a foreign national, Henry Zhao, for payment by invoking President Joe Biden’s name. The whistleblowers told committee members that DOJ officials delayed authenticating the information in a text message, which was sent over WhatsApp."

    And there's more!

Rep. Jason Smith on Twitter: "THREAD @WaysandMeansGOP just voted to release 14 hours of transcribed interviews with 2 IRS whistleblowers. Their story of how the federal government handled an investigation into a “high-profile individual” is stunning. READ: https://t.co/Ha1Gss2Mc4" / Twitter

    ·
The transcribed interviews shine a light on the seeming favoritism DOJ and IRS officials showed to protect this high-profile individual from justice. Whistleblowers confirmed for the first time that the individual is the President's son - Hunter Biden.

The below text is From the Means and Ways committee. I’m also waiting for someone to say the text hunter sent is fake.

The DOJ is corrupt and might not be able to be saved. Think of how bad it can get if Biden gets four more years. Garland needs to go on vacation and visit the Titanic.

Smith: Testimony of IRS Employees Reveals Biden IRS, DOJ Interfered in Tax Investigation of Hunter Biden, Revealing Preferential Treatment for Wealthy and Politically Connected
    JUNE 22, 2023 — BLOGMARKUPOVERSIGHTPRESS RELEASES

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A Ways and Means Committee executive meeting resulted in a vote to release to the public whistleblower testimony of two different IRS employees who worked directly on the tax evasion case of Hunter Biden. That testimony outlines misconduct and government abuse at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the investigation of Hunter Biden. The allegations point to a steady campaign of: unequal treatment of enforcing tax law; Department of Justice (DOJ) interference in the form of delays, divulgences, and denials, into the investigation of tax crimes that may have been committed by the President’s son; and finally, retaliation against IRS employees who blew the whistle on the misconduct.

Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (MO-08) released the following statement:

“Today, the Ways and Means Committee voted to make public the testimony of IRS employees blowing the whistle on misconduct at the IRS and the Biden Department of Justice regarding unequal enforcement of tax law, interference and government abuse in the handling of investigations into criminal activity by President Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, and retaliation against IRS employees blowing the whistle on this abuse.

“The American people deserve to know that when it comes to criminal enforcement, they are not on the same playing field as the wealthy and politically connected class. The preferential treatment Hunter Biden received would never have been granted to ordinary Americans.

“Whistleblowers describe how the Biden Justice Department intervened and overstepped in a campaign to protect the son of Joe Biden by delaying, divulging, and denying an ongoing investigation into Hunter Biden’s alleged tax crimes. The testimony shows tactics used by the Justice Department to delay the investigation long enough to reach the statute of limitations, evidence they divulged sensitive actions by the investigative team to Biden’s attorneys, and denied requests by the U.S. Attorney to bring charges against Biden.

IRS employees who blew the whistle on this abuse were retaliated against, despite a commitment IRS Commissioner Werfel made before the Ways and Means Committee to uphold their legal protections. They were removed from this investigation after they responsibly worked through the chain of command to raise these concerns.

“The Committee has acted in good faith with participation from both Democrats and Republicans, as the issues raised today ought to be a bipartisan concern. Hopefully we can find a path forward to continue to go where the facts lead us. If the federal government is not treating all taxpayers equally, or if it is changing the rules to engineer a preferred outcome, Congress has a duty to ask why and to hold agencies accountable and consider appropriate legislative action. The scales of justice must not be skewed in favor of the wealthy and the politically connected.”

The transcripts for the whistleblower testimony are posted below:

    What the Committee Has Learned

The federal government is not treating all taxpayers the same – and providing preferential treatment to the wealthy and well-connected, including the son of the President of the United States.

    • Despite the fact that IRS officials recommended that Hunter Biden be charged with criminal activity that includes attempts to evade or defeat taxes, fraud and false statements, and willful failures to file returns, supply information, or pay taxes for over $8.3 million in income, Mr. Biden received preferential treatment in the course of the investigation, and has struck a plea deal that will likely keep him out from behind bars. Meanwhile…

    • In 2014, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida announced that a man was sentenced to 13 months in prison to be followed by a year of supervised release for failing to file an income tax return, the same misdemeanor tax offense that Hunter Biden was charged with.

The Department of Justice interfered in the investigation into Hunter Biden’s clear tax issues with a “Delay, Divulge, and Deny” campaign – that ultimately shielded him by allowing the statute of limitations to pass on his tax crimes.

    • DELAY: Recurring unjustified delays pervaded the investigation, including in authenticating the message between Hunter Biden and Chinese officials. Investigators were told by U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf that “there is no way” a search warrant for evidence would get approved because the evidence of interest would be found in the guest house of former Vice President Biden.

    • DIVULGE: Investigators found out that attorneys for Hunter Biden were tipped off about actions relating to the investigation in advance. For example, even as investigators had probable cause to search a Northern Virginia storage unit in which Hunter Biden had stored files, attorneys for Biden were tipped off.

    • DENY: U.S. Attorney of Delaware David Weiss tried to bring charges in District of Columbia around March 2022 and was denied. Weiss sought special counsel status from DOJ in the Spring of 2022 and was denied. Weiss sought to bring charges in the Central District of California in the Fall of 2022 and had that request denied in January 2023.

IRS employees worked through the chain of command to blow the whistle on this misconduct – only to be met with hostility and retaliation, leading them to come to the Ways and Means Committee.

    • Actions were taken to cut the IRS investigative team out of the process after they raised concerns up their chain of command. One whistleblower was not selected for a position, when he was more qualified than the candidate who was selected. Limits and pauses have been placed on other, unrelated investigations that the whistleblowers are working on – which hamper the investigators’ ability to do their work or advance. The whistleblowers and their entire team were removed from the investigation on May 15, 2023, after blowing the whistle to Congress.

Does Henry Zao work for the Chinese government? Was this during Biden's tenure as VP.

Plenty of politicians have business inside China, like the Trumps.

    JFC.

OK, lets just say for the sake of the this post, Hunter Biden did business in China, and Joe made some money from that deal

In 2018, Ivanka got her Chinese Trademarks…..In 2020 Jared got $ 2 BILLION from the Saudis. By your standard, Donald Trump needs to be investigated and is as dirty as you think Biden is right ?

Come on man, you know better than this. Trademarks are merely product protection, not money makers. And the $2 billion has passed every test possible which is why no one is going after him.

Do you remember when the big bad orange man ran things how anonymous leaks out of the White House were treated like the most important and newsworthy events of the year. But when two people testify under oath to congress about corruption the left amazingly changes their standards as to what’s newsworthy? I mean, I’m shocked.

IRS whistleblowers reveal new info on Joe Biden’s links to Hunter Biden’s China deals

The whistleblower claims came from two IRS agents who played key roles in the Hunter Biden investigation — Gary Shapley, a supervisory special agent with the IRS’s criminal investigation, and an unnamed IRS case agent who is referred to as “Whistleblower X.”

Shapley’s transcribed interview included a portion of a December 8, 2020, recorded conversation in Arkansas between an FBI agent and Hunter Biden business associate Rob Walker, where Walker said Joe Biden had made an appearance at a meeting regarding efforts by Hunter Biden, Walker, and others to set up a lucrative deal with since-defunct Chinese energy conglomerate CEFC.

CEFC was founded by Ye Jianming, whom Hunter and James Biden had attempted to work out numerous deals with and from whose company the duo ultimately received millions of dollars.

The now-infamous “big guy” email which publicly emerged in October 2020 detailed an attempted business deal between the Chinese company and Hunter Biden. The email referenced “10 held by H [Hunter] for the big guy.”

The email is from businessman James Gilliar to Hunter Biden and others, dated May 13, 2017, and it discusses “expectations” of a potential deal and its "remuneration packages.” The email notes that “Hunter” would receive “850” ($850,000) and lists him as “Chair/Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC.”

The email goes on to say that “the equity will be distributed” with “20” (20%) for “H” (Hunter). The email also points to "10" for "Jim” (James Biden).

Hunter Biden investigation: IRS whistleblowers reveal Joe Biden’s alleged links to son's China deals | Washington Examiner

    CEFC bribes for oil[edit]
In November 2017, the US Justice Department accused CEFC of offering a US$2 million bribe to the president of Chad for oil rights and, through its representatives, former Hong Kong Secretary for Home Affairs Patrick Ho and former Senegalese foreign minister Cheikh Gadio, depositing a US$500,000 bribe to an account designated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uganda.

    Investigation[edit]
Ye was detained and put under investigation in March 2018 on suspicion of economic crimes.[9] According to South China Morning Post and AsiaNews, the order for the investigation came from CCP general secretary Xi Jinping.[10][11] Shanghai Guosheng Group, a portfolio and investment agency controlled by the Government of Shanghai, subsequently took control of CEFC China Energy in March 2018.[12][13] In October 2018, it was reported that prosecutors alleged Wang Sanyun, former Communist Party Secretary of Gansu province, had accepted bribes from Ye Jianming in 2011.[14]

Let's see, a Chinese company the Bidens are doing business with are caught bribing another country's President and a Communist Party Secretary, a Ukranian company Hunter works for sets up a bank account at a corrupt Malta bank that was later charged with money laundering, plus shell companies, money somehow making its way to what was it? 5 Bidens?

Yeah, nothing to see here. lol

It isn’t uncommon for there to be internal disagreements among investigators over which charges to file against the target of an investigation, much like the disagreements that the IRS whistleblowers described. CNN reported last year that some FBI and IRS investigators were at odds with other Justice Department officials over the strength of the case, and that there were discussions over which types of charges were appropriate and whether further investigation was needed.

Sources familiar with the criminal probe told CNN in April that prosecutors were still actively weighing a felony tax charge against Hunter Biden. And it is common for prosecutors to strike deals with defendants where they plead guilty to a small subset of the possible charges they could’ve faced.

...Shapley contends in his interview that Attorney General Merrick Garland was not truthful when he told Congress that Weiss had full authority on the investigation.

Yeah, I remember. How could we forget? Lol

I think many of Biden's biggest defenders know deep down that Biden is crooked but they don't care. I want to know if he was on the take and didn't pay taxes. They should too. They cannot keep up this charade. Hold Biden to a different standard than Trump and to expect anyone to take the Democratic Party seriously.

I assume you are talking about Trump. He was more interested in doing the job than going on stupid little witch hunts. Now that the left has started this trend there is no choice but to fight fire with fire. In a way, the left has won in my opinion since they have managed to FORCE the right to sink down to their level
I know I criticize their tactics but I also admit they work.

And mostly turned out to be true? Yeah and?

    Former Defense Secretary James Mattis
He called Trump “the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people.”

Former Navy Secretary Richard V. Spencer

Spencer was fired for going outside his chain of command by proposing a secret agreement with the White House over Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher’s case. In a Washington Post op-ed, Spencer called Trump’s intervention in the war crimes case “shocking and unprecedented.”

“It was also a reminder that the President has very little understanding of what it means to be in the military, to fight ethically or to be governed by a uniform set of rules and practices,” he wrote.

Former White House national security adviser John Bolton

Bolton wrote that Trump directed him to help with his pressure campaign in Ukraine to dig up dirt on Democrats

Former White House chief of staff John Kelly
Kelly has said he believes Bolton’s accusation – that Trump told Bolton US security aid to Ukraine was conditioned on an investigation of the President’s political rivals.

“If John Bolton says that in the book I believe John Bolton,” Kelly said.

Kelly said he agreed with Mattis about Trump’s handling of demonstrations in the wake of Floyd’s death.

“There is a concern, I think an awful big concern, that the partisanship has gotten out of hand, the tribal thing has gotten out of hand,” Kelly said. “He’s quite a man, Jim Mattis, and for him to do that tells you where he is relative to the concern he has for our country.”

Former White House national security advisor H.R. McMaster

Trump’s ex-national security adviser says president is ‘aiding and abetting’ Putin

Barr, who has stuck up for Trump about other investigations, said Sunday the documents case is different.

“This is not a circumstance where he’s the victim or that this is government overreach,” Barr told CBS’ “Face the Nation.” “He provoked this whole problem himself.”

The former attorney general added that he thinks Trump lied to the Justice Department during the investigation and that there’s nothing to support his argument that he has the right to keep the documents under the Presidential Records Act.

    ex-Defense Secretary Mark Esper
“Clearly, it was unauthorized, illegal and dangerous,” said Esper, who added that “no one is above the law” and that Trump should be “held to account.”

Under oath? Oh like GARLAND was and the "whistleblower" (disgruntled employee) said he lied to Congress?

The right ALWAYS has "stuff", until it's actually time to present their cases in court, which is why Cheeto is 0-61 for 2020 election "fraud" in court!
