Correction: We will cheer when Democrats do this to Republicans.

I think Democrats are getting sick of all this kumbaya nonsense.

You already cheered, you had two impeachments, numerous investigations into Trump from every angle, you had the televised one sided 1/6 hearings, you had Stone, Manafort, Flynn and now Trump again. You’ve had plenty of liberal cheer.

They fought with police and engaged in a violent occupation of the legislature an insurrection and obstructed an official proceeding.

The Democratic Reps. should not have been involved with the Insurrection of Tennessee's capital. What comes around goes around.

And Democrats want to know why Republicans didn't support the January 6 Committee. Hypocrites are now supporting the insurrection at the Tennessee capital building because it was about gun control. Violence will be tolerated if it supports their agenda.

Fortunately this time the Tennessee Capital was properly manned by security the way the US Capital should have been especially considering they had plenty of notice a protest was taking place. Tennessee clearly does a better job at protecting their state representatives and probably on far less funding. Good for Tennessee!

I don't care which side of the fence you're on. I'm watching coverage of this live on TV and this is historic. MLK level historic in some ways. This is going to bite Republicans on the behind.

Even in the reddest of red states.

Disrupting an active session of an elected legislature is clearly anti-democratic.

Well, I guess this is the beginning of a new era where elected officials can be kicked out by the ruling party and replaced by appointees. I remember Saddam Hussein did the same thing in Iraq.

I don't think this is going to help GOP in 2024, because it just doubles down on "to hell with democracy" and "yes to authoritarianism".

Weren't they trying to interrupt an official government process? I thought that was considered an insurrection by Democrats.

The young voters there didn’t seem very happy with Republicans antics — events like this will shape the way they vote for years to come.

I anticipate a lot of Republicans screaming about “stolen elections” as Gen Z hands their asses to them and boomers retire.

Wasn't that what the rioters at the Capitol were accused of doing? Interrupting an official government process.

While they turn around and scream for Santos to be removed from the House. Hmmmm. And he didn't even commandeer the podium to scream their nonsense.

There's quite a lot of Republicans who'd vote for Santos to be booted. That's not about party, it's about lying and corruption. Big difference!
