The unemployment benefits in the package are on steroids as Schumer suggested. Clean too, the normal calculation plus 600 bucks. The turn around time should be extremely quick for those impacted.

The only question left is will Nancy P and the House Dems continue to hold the American people hostage and hold them up after it gets through the Senate?

How so? I don't see the tax credits for the solar panels, the new emissions for air planes, the funding for planned parenthood....none of her wish list is actually in here. Nothing of note has really changed, nothing the GOP opposed....it's pretty much the same bill

It seems to me the Dems caved largely due to the massive backlash from their extortion attempt.

Americans however will not forget how the Dems held them hostage

 

Nancy got everything that she REALLY wanted.

Where does the money for this $2 TRILLION stimulus package come from? Will there be increases to taxes? Will there be cuts in current spending? Will we be borrowing the money for China?

 

Pray tell, exactly what was in the final proposed legislation that Nancy Pelosi wanted? Point it out so those present may understand such.

 

For one, Trump and his extended family are specifically barred from receiving one centavo of that $2 trillion...

 

Is that all? Or is there supposedly more in the final proposed legislation that Nancy Pelosi wanted to see enacted? If there is, then what is it?

 

So are all members of Congress and their families that have businesses.

All his sons have to do is resign their positions and then the hard working maids, grounds keepers, waiters, cooks etc that the Dems are attacking for simply working at a Trump branded resort can get some relief.

This move really just highlights how desperate and sad the Dems are because they lost in 2016

 

Pelosi isn't a progressive. She's a liberal and this is everything a liberal would want, bonus points for personally ****ing with the Trump Family. She never really wanted the progressive stuff.

Bernie sanders and other senators from both parties are objecting to the $600 bonus on top of regular unemployment compensation,is encouraging people in lower salary ranges NOT TO WORK as they will be realizing more income from being unemployed than they can earn if working.It sounds like they did a bad job writing the bill.

 

I'm glad they got it passed. But we are going to be in sooo much debt. Maybe we would be in a better place if we weren't running trillion dollar deficits before this thing started.
