How on earth can he even begin to justify doing this?

Why on earth is it bad to include any and all experts with something to contribute in the fight?

How can he say he's doing everything possible while at the same time excluding information from the people tasked with addressing the fight?

Finally, how is keeping information from the public in the early stages of a pandemic a good thing?

Is it really, really nasty? This is the part that scares me. I've been given to understand it's really just like a cold, and it only kills those old people who are sort of at Death's Door anyway, like the Flu often does. But then you hear that if you're in the 'vulnerable population' it's really very dangerous. I'm 'vulnerable' but I take my medicines and feel strong mostly, should I be panicking?

 

That right there, that is one of the main reasons that at least I resent the man so. He insults my intelligence, he's not just a crook, he's amazingly blatant about it and then he comes on with all this self-serving "Fake News" and conspiracy theory "Deep State" bullshit that a child could see through.

 

There's no good that comes from panicking.

But you'll feel better when you are being proactive. Washing your hands frequently, not shaking hands, we use an elbow bump here during ebola outbreaks, don't cover your mouth with your hand when you sneeze use your shoulder. It's all about the hands and making sure others do too.
You should also follow our rule on fresh food here, if you can't wash it, peel it or cook it, don't eat it. Too many people like to rummage around the entire bin when buying fresh fruits to find just the right one.

If you're worried about the concentration I can recommend some test strips sold on Amazon and used in restaurants. A little bit goes a long way and too much is not better but potentially bad. Ditto when making surface sanitizers too much is not better.

These are chlorine test strips used in restaurants. When I was cheffing it was part of the uniform for all the kitchen staff. We had several bleach solutions throughout the kitchen and they needed to be right or they'd have undesired results.

This particular virus has a relatively weak cell membrane compared to many other viruses or bacteria. The membrane is composed of a fat that is easily destroyed/dissolved by alcohol or soap. Having a weak membrane is probably why it is so contagious but it does dry out quite quickly out in the open
