A few idiots talking means nothing; I can find videos of idiots supporting all sorts of things. As for the black vote for Obama, if you look at my previous posts, you can see the numbers for other democrats. Turns out Dems average 90% of the black vote to begin with.

    ahhh

I just read your thpought provoking posts

Is your assertion that the 98% of blacks who voted Obama did so only on his policy? None of them voted for obama just because he's black???

Read past this post and respond to the facts. Are there black voters who voted for Obama because he is black, certainly. Are they retarded, yes. Did every black voter who voted for Obama go for Obama because he is black, no. Is every black voter retarded, no. He got 6% more of the black vote than is usual for a democrat. Sorry but it doesn't prove anything. If democrats traditionally got 50% of the black vote or at least say 75% then there may be a point and you could use those numbers to suggest racism. However once you look at previous voting habits it's much less well defined.

I'm not saying that, I'm sure some did. However being that the black vote is regularly 90% democratic, it's really not a shock that they voted for the democrat. That doesn't prove they did so because he was black. If Obama were a republican and got 96% of the black vote then you might have an argument.

    Aaaand?
They still vote overwhelmingly for white democrats, even in elections where its a white democrat vs a black republican (although that sort of election rarely happens as you can imagine)

that is precisely the appropriate comparison. There was a time in the not so distant past, when Irish Catholic Americans were considered scum. So... when one of their own actually got nominated for President... a man who shared their upbringing and understood their belief system and their lives... they flocked to support him. Because he was one one of them, and because they believed that they would get a fair shake with him in the white house... and they knew that - finally - Irish Americans had really arrived, and that they were not second class citizens anymore.

Now...for an ethnic group that, a mere 160 years before, had been considered less than human by our government... had been actual property of white americans... for an ethnic group that had, only forty-four years ago, finally received equal rights to vote in all states in this country... for them to have a black man running for president causes the same reactions and the same pride that JFK's election brought to catholic - especially Irish catholic - Americans.

No one thought that was "racist" then. Methinks that lots of white folks against Obama feel that way because they just cannot wrap their heads around the fact that a stepin-fetchit uppity NEGRO actually conned his way into the white house and they will not rest until they drag him out... and if he could be tarred and feathered on his way out the door, that would be even better...because that is what they do to uppity negroes in THEIR America.

I love how blacks going from 92-93% for a white democrat to 94-96% for a black democrat is suddenly black people voting along racial lines.

While I agree with you in theory, it's still insanely stupid to make the Obama presidency about race. Identity politics is a tool that puppet masters use to manipulate people. Don't fall for it. The joke will only be on you.

LMFAO! Anybody who's getting ready to vote for one of the current Repub candidates would actually call Obama voters "retarded"? That's the funniest thing I've heard in awhile! :eyepopping:

I wonder if he hated his white grandparents who basically raised him. I can think of some white americans on this forum that hate him.

The truth does hurt doesn't it. How many white presidents have black americans voted for, would it be safe to say all of them since Tricky Dick. Why only since Tricky Dick, oh thats right because they couldn't vote before then could that. Now thats some truth for your ass.

Nope not really, Obamas approval numbers by blacks were much higher than that of Clinton [Compare the first few years], in fact some by 20 points!!!...Why would that be???

It would seem to be obvious, even though their unemployment is worse under Obama ,,they STILL approve Obama higher....They are obviously bias to the Black President..

And why wouldn't they be biased towards Obama? He's black, he's a Democrat, he was running against McCain/Palin. It would have been the same if Hillary had won the primary - she would have had the black vote plus the women's vote because she's a woman, she's a Democrat and she would have run against McCain/Palin.

The fact that Obama ran against McCain/Palin was in itself enough reason for most sane, rational people to vote for him aside from race or political party. Anybody who voted AGAINST him simply because he was black and put us in danger of having Bush III and a moron in the WH has a lot more to explain than anybody who voted for Obama for WHATEVER reason.

It seems completely irrational to me for RWers to complain about black people voting for Obama when they would have voted for him if he'd been 100% white instead of only half. And when RWers in large numbers voted for McCain/Palin for the sole reason that he's white and she's a "hottie" - very sound reasons to put somebody in the WH, don't you think?

You are not getting this are you? I compared Bill Clinton's approval numbers to Obama's,,that would be...
TWO DEMOCRAT PRESIDENTS!!!,,,the only difference is one is white, and one is black...

WHY DID THEY GIVE OBAMA A MUCH HIGHER APPROVAL NUMBER????

Hillary has nothing to do with this comparison!!!

Well, for one thing - one chart is MONTHLY averages on Obama and the other is YEARLY averages on Clinton. How can you use that for accurate comparisons?

All the Republican candidates are heads and shoulders above obama with intelligence and leadership qualities.

Where have you been these last 3+ years of watching our nation go down the toilet. You didn't suffer from a coma, did you?

From ninety three to ninety four Clinton never got out of the seventies, this shows in his average. When was Obama even close to the seventies his entire first year????
    Really it's that obvious.

And we are talking about such a HUGE difference, not just a few points but over twenty!!! Come on Anna you cant see that? If it were just a few points I would not even care, but the difference is blatant....

Look how the line stays the same for Clinton's first year,,,,got it? The line varies through the year if it goes up or down for approval..

This is the most blatantly racist polling I have ever seen. Two Presidents, both Democrats. They give the black President a twenty point advantage,,,,disgusting!!! What happened to Clinton being the first black President,,,I guess not so much.....huh?
    Wonder why?

They are worse off now then they were then, but seem to prefer it...OR could it be they just cant say anything negative about Obama at all...?

The same place I was the previous 8 years watching our nation being deliberately flushed down the toilet. The past 3 years, I've been watching the same people who were responsible for the previous 8 years obstruct and do everything they can to prevent a recovery so they can get back in power to "fix" what they did the previous 8.

To act like we were just doing fine until Obama got elected is complete BS. Where were YOU while Bush was president - in a coma?

I don't understand why you're so agitated about this or why you find it so hard to believe that African Americans would vote for Obama or give him high approval ratings. I'd be a whole lot more surprised if they DIDN'T.
