White Police Officer found innocent at trial - Blacks want him lynched... WHAT?

Blacks expressed their anger over a white policeman being found innocent of "misdemeanor oppression" in the videotaped kicking of a captured non-compliant black burglar.
They were not satisfied over the innocent verdict because the jury consisted of a jury of the accused peers and not of blacks who might side with the criminal due to his race. This is akin to them not wanting justice but instead wanting a good ole time lynching.

Of course, we didn't hear a peep from these folks when OJ Simpson went free by a jury of Simpson's peers.

My take.... beating was wrong... but if you rob someone and get caught, you better do what the cops say.... what a dumbass thug.
When I did wrong and the cops caught me, I didn't run or resist and did EXACTLY and IMMEDIATELY what the cops told me to do... and hell, I am white. DOH!

 

Just another example of conflict that naturally arises when different races live together.
Teaching more "tolerance" is never going to make this go away.

Why do we never see any crime problems with Japanese or Koreans living amongst whites? It is almost as if certain ethnic groups have certain statistical propensities for committing certain different types of crime...

 

If it's a problem they can always punish the offending cop. That's what happens in Mexico.

 

It's disturbing that so many of the critics are asserting that the trial was flawed simply because of the racial composition of the jury. It appears they believe that the evidence in the trial isn't relevant and that the defendant's racial appearance suggests his guilt. I find that sickening.

 

All white juries, especially in the South, hardly ever convict white cops for killing or mistreating blacks. It goes back to slavery days when the Slave Patrol posses hunted down runaway slaves and beat and hung them.

 

It goes back to leftist who think movies are reality and live in a world of fantasy. But, whatever fantasy explains your racism, bigotry, and outright stupidity is just dandy. For leftists, justice is the lynch mob.

 

The best way to avoid being mistreated by the police is to stay out of other people's houses.

Yea your right because things were great in this country before the 60s. White folks were doing ALL the killing. You could murder someone black back in those good ole days and never had to worry about being brought to the Bar of Justice for it.

You could call a black person a "ni*****" and for the most part didn't have to worry about getting you teeth knocked down your throat.

You and 10 of your buddies could ride the countryside terrorizing and murdering folks and didn't have to worry about because at least 5 of those buddies were on the police force or was a deputy sheriff.

Nobody is ever found innocent. Just guilty, or not. Except for Scotland, where it can be "Not Proven" which means "we think you're guilty, but the evidence wasn't QUITE strong enough!"

In the U.S. one is presumed "innocent," until proven guilty.

The Japanese and Koreans don't have the same history here in the U.S. One must remember that blacks were slaves and not thought of as human beings. This has 'branded' them with a stigma which has induced hatred toward 'whites' and it is generational.

Up until the 60s (or so) blacks were still thought of as inferior by a large portion of the U.S. 'white' population and that was only 50+/- years ago. Today we see enlightened thinking on the part of most 'whites' in this country however, folks like Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton make their living exacerbating that racial hatred. Today we call that 'race baiting' which, IMO, is a natural consequence of such a horrendous national policy as slavery.

All that being said, there is simply nothing 'whites' can do to make up for the enslavement of a whole people perpetrated by their ancestors. When I look at the middle east and see not centuries but thousands of years of racial and even religious hatred I wonder if we will ever be free it. I also know that most folks in America are decent folks and do not harbor deep-seated racial hatred UNLESS provoked by those seeking money and power.

 

If you want something to expand, subsidize it.

That's as may be and it's not a good state of affairs. I have the same objection where an all-black jury might refuse to find for the prosecution where there is a black defendant and roughly the same facts were in issue. I know, naieve as all get out but it's a sorry state when racial appearance trumps evidence in any criminal case.

 

That doesn't make any sense at all. I would ask you to show where those on the left advocate punishment without due process.
