That's not really like this at all.

This lady saw people she didn't know entering the neighbors home. It's good that she was paying attention. This was just a misunderstanding.

I would not even talk to someone if I thought they looked suspicious, call the cops, let them handle it

It is. I am conflicted on this one. I mean the black guy and his partner felt like it was a race things (and maybe it was) but she seems to be coming at it from a different perspective. I kind of have a hard time seeing anything redeeming in her though because if she saw this suspicious black person warranting a 911 call, why the hell would she stop out front and talk to him to begin with before making the call.

yep, that is the part I do not get either, I can understand calling the cops if suspicious, but not confronting - but some people do like friction

Oh I see what you're doing there you're acting like per capita math doesn't exist and you didn't run those numbers.

Try running those numbers and get back with us okay?

I completely disagree. Profiling is essentially stereotyping. Here’s a real life example:

When I lived in northern New Jersey I would sometimes go to Jersey City or into NYC late at night. If I wandered off into the wrong neighborhood the cops sometimes stopped me. Why you ask? Because a lily white white boy doesn’t go into certain neighborhoods unless he’s up to no good.

If blacks committed crimes at a much lower rate than they do now, then over time people would stop associating blacks with crime.

How are people supposed to know it's ones own home?

I suppose most people aren't clairvoyant.

So note to burglars if you want to get into a home and steal just say you live there.

Just about everyone I know profiles black males and younger black females. The left insisted that this is pure racism. I say cautionary measure. If blacks aren't responsible for majority of the crime, especially hate crime against Asians, the profiling ends.

The math says HALF of all murders. People are crying about gun deaths when HALF of the murders are done by a easily identifiable group of people. Do you have a plan on dealing with those people? I mean, you want to cut those murders down I presume.

I stand by my earlier post. Had this man's white partner been out in the yard instead of him, she probably wouldn't have bothered to stop. I would bet real money that the previous occupants of that home were white, hence her alarm on seeing (gasp! clutching her pearls) a black man on the premises.

wait, if you see someone who obviously isn't the neighbor going in and out of the house why would you NOT call the police? looks like people who want to see racism will find it no matter what.

You can't know that so I'll chalk it up to a narrative that you want so that you can LARP as a civil rights activist.
The only reason people pretend that there is racism everywhere is because they desperately want to be civil rights activists but we're born in the wrong century.

Tldr: your post is a joke and thanks for the chuckle.

Because racism was the motivation for the call.

Are you a mind reader now or did she make racist comments to the cops or the person?

Or is it because anytime some criticism or some injustice happens to a black person it must be racism?

Boulder is a liberal as liberal can be... But surely don't be black in their city.

No, I only assume it was racism. If she wanted to know more about the man, she could have introduced herself to him.

White Center is a dangerous neighborhood. People there tend to be a bit suspicious and jumpy.

It would be common sense not to introduce one's self to a burglar.
