    In a sane world, official conspiracy theories advanced by the government that are contradicted by facts and evidence IS a scandal. In a sane world.

    In this real world best described by Orwell, Official Conspiracy Theories contradicted by facts and evidence are the bread and butter of our mainstream media. It is so common it has become banal and ordinary.
