Whites will be a minority in 100 years?

There is a theory out there, by some, that within 100 years whites will be a minority in every country where they are a majority today.

Is there any weight to this argument? Any evidence to support this?

And if its true, should we prevent it?

 

it's a myth... most people breed within their own race

there does seem to be a tanning of America... they may one day become the majority if that is what you mean, maybe in a 1000 years

black skin getting lighter, pale skin getting darker....

Prevent what? Why do we care? We're all people and the more we start to all look alike, maybe we can reach peace in this screwed up world filled with too many people who care about skin color and hate each other for it.

 

I wonder if people of different colors mating will make mankind stronger?

... it's not an argument, it's an observation. Unless you want to institute some kind of eugenics program, the arbitrary traits that folks collectively describe as 'white' or 'non-white' will be shared across borders. And I don't see why anyone would care.

But if you want a preview, come to my state. In Hawaii, whites are a minority. We're all minorities. And no one cares.

What you mean to say is that people with the melanin content of whichever concentration creates the shade of skin you consider to be "white" will become a minority. What's interesting is that once those folks start living in the parts of the world where "white people" live now, in a few generations those folks will become the white people as the melanin content of their bodies start to drop in response to decreased sunlight intensity and exposure. All this talk of white and black are functions of physics and chemistry and the sun, not psychology.

natural selection, in the absense of sexual selection, is due to totally random mutations that end up being an advantage, and get spread due to higher rates of survival.

 

staying out in the sun longer used to be an advantage, not so much in our modern world

right now it's more decided on natural selection based on appearance

many blacks are attracted to lighter skin, many whites darker skin, why tanning beds are so popular with many.. ect....

 

like i said, a population will only darken over time, if they choose generation after generation to mate with darker peoples.

it won't just happen on its own, that's not how evolution works.

 

What is interesting is a figure I ran across researching Hispanic voting trends.

Think about that for a minute, almost 15% of all new marriages are inter-racial. I think that figure would surprise most civilians. I say that as it really is no surprise to me. I have been military all my life and all I have to do is walk into a PX or commissary and see all the interracial couples and their rug rats.

Now I will tell you what really irks me, I married a Thai gal and we have been married for 45 years now. But when she took her citizenship test she was taught that in America we have no hyphenate Americans. That we are all Americans regardless of race, color, creed or where we come from. In other words America was still the melting pot of the world back then. Since then we have come up with a ton of hyphenated Americans, we have re-segregated ourselves into groups. The really sad part about it is the re-segregation was done by the government. The people just followed their cue.

Pretty much I guess. But it does say the amount of inter racial marriages are on the rise. But I suppose that depends where one lives. With GI's, they have a habit of marrying girls from whatever country they are stationed in.

 

The prognosticators said New York City was supposed to be under water in June 2015. We know how that worked out. I don't care if we're purple in 100 years, because none of us will be here. Maybe mankind will evolve to the point of ridding itself of that defective gene...liberalism.

 

They don't even have to mate with darker peoples. They would simply have to live in a part of the world that gets different amounts of sunlight than the part of the world the people who passed their genes on to them lived in. Within a few generations their skin would start to darken as their bodies respond to the environmental changes and those changes get passed on genetically. That's all that skin color is. People who try to derive anything else from it beyond it being a response to the sun are silly.

I would say the real defective gene here is the one that allows you to turn your brain off and blame a political ideology. That's counter-productive to human intellectual advancement. It's sure hope it's recessive-recessive.

 

Without the liberal ideology, we wouldn't have nearly the problems we have today. Failure to accept responsibility for personal action, and always finding someone or something else to blame for poor personal choices is the recessive gene.

 

It's one shared by humanity and has nothing at all, even slightly, to do with politics. They might be able to make Butterfingers in neat little bite-size chunks, but you cannot do that with humanity. You're going to have to open your eyes and think a little deeper, if making rational and informed observations is something you're concerned about anyway. If you're just on here to vent and make yourself feel better by picking a group you don't like and blaming everything on them, continue on as you are.

 

Biggest problem I have with this claim is it's built on the assumption that having 1% black DNA and 99% white DNA still makes you "black".

So truth is "blacks" will be becoming more of a minority too - it will just be an increase in "mixed" population.

Hispanics aren't a "race" either - they're a mix of Spanish and Native American blood

 

Is that your way of saying I should think like a liberal, and abandon my own convictions? I could say the same of you, but you would argue that you are already superior in your thought process, since you have a problem with how I think. Liberalism leaves no room for discussion from people with differing opinions. Just look to Obama, the uber-liberal, who cannot even get along with his own party. That's simply a fact, not conjecture. There are no gray areas, only "settled science." The old "my way or the highway" is the liberal way.

 

Will white people become a minority? The short answer is Yes, the longer answer is No...

first you'll have to figure out what the definition of white will be 100 years from now... let's just assume it stays the same, then yes white people will become a minority as most people will be covered under what we classify as inter-racial today... however I think the word white, will be redefined in the future, in the past groups were fighting legally to be classified as white in early american times (heck even the irish were not "white" at one time)... in the future people will be fighting not to be classified as white for legal reasons... kind of ironic...

should we prevent it? I don't think there is any reason to prevent or support it either way...

in my local city, this year "white" became a minority population, however I don't expect any special programs to assist me anytime soon... as everything is still my fault somehow...

 

its the tell tale signs like "will the white race become extinct?" and then answering your own question with "impossible!" that give them away.
