Hello my friends. I would like to open a special thread regarding classic cars. You are more then welcome to load pictures and stories about your 4 wheel antique LOVE
While this isn't a photo of mine, mine is just like it. It's a 1967 CB 77 Honda Super Hawk 305. Bought it when I was 14 and still have it.
1970 Chevelle SS convertable. LS6 454, M22 fourspeed, 12bolt rear with 4.11 gears. Red, black top, black interior and black stripes. That will be my first selfish purchase after winning the lottery.
Closest I could find on Google: mine has solid wheel covers & no Landau top, but pretty good otherwise. (Same color, and looks like this even has the same red interior I have.)
1967 396 SS Chevelle. Turquoise, black rag rop. Had for 18 years, frame off restoration in 1994 and sold about 2 years later to a persistent admirer. I miss her dearly. Not mine, but as nice....
They never made Charger ragtop. Now a 70 Challenger Hemi ragtop. You may get my attention. One of my favorite cars was a 69 Olds Cutlass S convert. Rocket 350 TH400 12 bolt, red, black top, black interior. Like a fool I sold it to build my drag car, guy wrecked it a month later.
Ragtops are heavier & slower. Need a post coupe or a hardtop. Forget the Charger: make it a Road Runner post coupe, 440 6-pack, 4-speed, 4.10 Dana.
Thats fine, nothing like the sun on your face and the wind in your hair in a rag top. This is Florida my man. Any way you are talking less than tenths in the quarter in the weight difference.
Ac cobras ? Porsche 930 Turbo ? Vw bug ? mini cooper ? Everyone is more then welcome to post more pics.
