Maybe generalizing with all-or-nothing- thinking is not too functional.

Understanding that there are more than one kind of capitalism has real merits, for free people that need to survive AND evolve.

White collar criminals. They steal much more from the worth of the rest of us. Petty criminals are just taking pennies. White collar criminals are taking tens of thousands. White collar criminals make it so capitalism works worse. They effect the entire tapestry of capitalism. Petty thieves just take a little from us.

Now, if you were saying petty robbers vs. white collar, I would say the petty robbers take more, but that's because they are using force.

Federal White Collar Convictions Dipped To ‘20-Year Historic Low’ in 2015
April 12, 2016 -- White collar convictions by the Department of Justice (DOJ) dipped to a “20-year historic low” in 2015, according to data obtained from the Executive Office of the U.S. Attorney under the Freedom of Information Act and analyzed by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) at Syracuse University. “Convictions over the past year are still much lower than they were five years ago,” TRAC reported.
