First off .. the claim that the keystone has nothign to do with drilling in the USA is preposterously false nonsense -- any change to the supply demand balance is going to effect drilling ..

The above however is small dupage .. in relation to you Walter has been duped - into thinking that Bidens "Not in my back yard - Dump it in the Ocean" environmental policy is good for the Environment .. the Oceans and the CO2 equation.

Cancelling the Keystone did not change US oil consumption by one drop .. which means we had to get the oil from somewhere else .. 40% of the Crude coming into US refineries comes from "Somewhere else" by Ship as opposed to pipeline .. and we know that pipeine is way less harmful to the Ocean and CO2 equation than pipeline.

even worse is transporting our pollution problems to non industrialized nations .. such as Nigeria .. Exxon recently had a big find off the coast of Namibia. Sourcing oil from non industrialized nations incentivizes industrialization of non industrialized populations.. which is the main reason for the increase in CO2 from 22 Billion tons/yr to 36 Billion tons/yr over the last 25 years.

In addition to increasing CO2 --- this policy also came with a huge increase to Ocean Pollution .. a horse that is also in the "destroy the planet" race .. CO2 being another horse .. except the Ocean Pollution horse is running much faster at the moment .. and we don't have to wait 100 years for the Oceans to rise 100 feet The Ocean distress signals are already happening full on .. but instead of florida being covered with water .. it is being covered by "THE BLOB" .. a monster double the width of the USA .. comming to attack Florida as we speak.

These Green Blue Queens are Environmental Morons .. along with the wests policies in general - and thereby the planet .. along with the Greta's and the Greenpeaces of the world.

Me neither .. which is kind of the point of this OP - and its not just Trump I don 't want in power .. Don't want the rest of the Red Clown car there either. Sans a few rare but fleeting exceptions all are 1) RINO's who hate the founding principle and/or 2) who have sold out to the golden goose.

The point -- is that I can't stand the GOP - what it has become .. Voted for Obama the first round "Hope and Change" ya know -- and since then the GOP has gotten worse

Yet despite this -- and having the best arguments out there against Trump .. one's that actually have some basis in reality as opposed to "Russia Russia Russia" - despite being a rabid pro choice advocate .. an issue which has been one of the primary factors in my hatred for the Religious Right GOP theocratic wing nut party .. I would still take Trump over what Blue has become

1) LINO's who hate the founding principle - even more than Red .. far more actually .. which is not an easy bar to cross
2) who have sold out to the Golden goose .. bout the same as Red.

In keeping with this "War on Terror" - a bill came before the house and Senate making it illegal for our Gov't to arm, support, supply Al Qaeda and other groups on our Terror list .. the bill titled "Stop Arming Terrorist Act" ...

Now . . one might figure this a no brainer .. a bill that prevents us from continuing to arm Al Qaeda and ISIS with sophisticated US military technology - stuff like man-pads . perfect for taking out civilian airliners.

This bill got 13 bipartisan cosponsors in the house - out of 435.. When Rand Paul introduced to the Senate he did so without a single co-sponsor.

Figure that is a pretty good golden goose test ...3% of congress not completely corrupted by the MIC.

How true. The problem at its most basic is that the political system deters competent managers and administrators from running. We only get people who want political power. So we choose our leaders from the weaker end of our society.

Trickle down describes capitalism at its most basic. Someone takes a risk, invests time and money and creates an enterprise that benefits those related to the enterprise. It works the same in Australia as it does here. The money trickles down from that initial investment and profits to others. Both our countries were capitalist from the time they were founded.

 

Trump getting the nomination would cinch Biden's reelection, that's for sure. I mean, he already lost once to Biden, and that was with the incumbent's advantage. He was underwater when he beat Clinton, too. A majority of the country doesn't want him in the White House, where he obviously does not belong, and a majority support his indictment in New York too.

The GOP needs to be de-Trumped.

 

Yes, if you are a person who has the talent, experience and overall ability to be an effective POTUS, why do you want to put up with the character assassination and legal expenses that go along with running for the job during the campaign and perhaps after you have won? Both sides need to think this over.

A guy like Harry Truman, who didn't have much money, would never have had a chance. Sure people made political remarks about his early connections to the Pendergast Machine early in his career, but they didn't sue him in court over it. The fact was, he was an honest part of that machine.
