The news report seems to end at around 1:45 and cut to some other unreferenced old interview with Abbott where he is talking about an old position. That video just seems to start out like a good example of how the TV media is so biased to the political left, and then has an old interview added on the end to try and make Abbott sound hypocritical!? Just more anti-Liberal fail from the loopy left cheersquad.

As for Abbott telling fibs, No that is not a fib, But I suggest you will see he has perpetrated one since, Evidence will come later. Unfortunately, At this time all anybody is left with, is attempts to attribute a lie that is not there.

Hey i'm against a tax on air whether its the Gillard Green government or the Tony Abbott liberal government.

Once again these clowns are bowing down to the request of bankers through their corporations.

If it reaaly is all that bad why not fix it within the next ten or 15 years.

Legislate that all boilers have to be upgraded to cleaner fuel types or natural gas types within a certain time frame.

Legislate that the latest technology must be used in capturing the nitty gritty stuff that comes out the back end of power stations.

EG

1. Electrostatic precipitators
2. Fabirc Filter bags (baghouses)
3. Scrubbers
4. Carbon capture and sequestration

The fact that they are farming carbon credits to buy and sell on the stock exchange just goes to show how real the whole idea of AGW really is.

Wake up FFS and smell the CO2, the current free markets are farked the big boyz want to play their games with another commodity a commodity that will yield $2 trillion dollars per year.

In fact they will be wishing for more CO2 to be pumped into the air so they can create and sell more carbon credits.

So they can keep every man woman and child including nations in financial slavery through a cost on energy.

We can fix this problem by ourselves here in our own back yards we dont need the IPCC the UN or any other money hungry organisation digging their little dirty hands into Australia's piggy bank thank you very much.

It is totally irrelevent what Big Tony as said or hasn't said. He as done nothing and cannot do anything. His job is to be the opposition to the sitting government. The things he may say now, in his capacity as opposition leader could well be very different to what he says in the future when he is wearing a different hat. And no matter how much spin or interpretation you what to put on it, no matter how much you wiggle, twist and squirm you won't change the fact that Gillard and Swan lied. They deliberately misslead the Australian public over their intentions re a carbon tax in their election campaign.
