why are replies double posting?

    when I post a reply it is showing up twice, why?

    When the server is busy, there is a certain delay in postings and clicking on 'Post Quick Reply' more than once may result in double posting and when your reply does not immediately show up on the site, you may have to wait a minute or two before posting the same reply again and make sure to check back on the thread.

    Either server or database errors...

    Excuse me, but that is a very poor excuse for a malfunctioning forum.

    Obviously, the server isn't serving up pages fast enough.

    I just checked the forum's home page, for 400 a month they ought be able to get a decent hosting system for this place.

    Ya think?

    No other political forum on the internet behaves this badly. This is the absolutely worst forum around, performance-wise.

    When I use the quick reply and I hit post, it asks me if I'm sure I want to leave the page because I have data on it. Well yeah, I'm trying to post that data. Then, it tells me I'm double posting when I've only clicked it once.
